I am really enjoying this series. The narrator's deep voice for the main female character was a bit startling at first (it it deeper than the voice he uses for the main male character) but I got used to it. I love how through the whole story the hero constantly says "I'm no hero." It is a clean, lighthearted fantasy adventure. I think my teenager would also enjoy listening to this series. The books are around 2 hours each, and cliffhangers. There is no conclusion / closure to the plot until the end of the series, although a few minor sub plots have conclusion. Personally I would have preferred a single long book instead of a dozen mini books.

Clean, short, fantasy adventure

Lots of unexpected turns! Still wondering about the silver swirls that Tor sees in the eyes of certain people... Looking forward to the next adventure!!

I love the fact that these are so short. So easy to listen in one sitting. Incredible story and very good narrator. Highly recommended.

Is Tor Finally Falling For Saboraak? Or is he just falling? Again? These northern cities seem awfully difficult to survive in, but at least they make like interesting... But who can Tor trust? It seems that no one is who they pretend to be..... and then the story explodes!!!!

Who To Trust?

Tor's dreams if being a dragon rider aren't quite going as planned and he has more people to look after. He may say he's not a hero but his actions sure show different. Of course Saboraak is still my favourite.
