Loved it!

I really enjoyed this story. The narrator was good, and the storyline is fantastic! I loved the Native American aspect, and I love Etti, the main female character. Shes a bad ass female tattoo artist who rides a motorcycle. I love the world of wolves and debauchery she lives in and faces with Grey. The love story and connection between them is great and I cant wait for more!!

Greyson and Etti

I enjoyed listening to Claimed by Bella Night. This is the first book in The Crescent City Wolves series. This was my first introduction to her stories. The story follows Greyson West and Etti Blackwell. Unfortunately for Greyson, he turned his mates life upside down, now he needs to claim her.

Good beginning to the series!

I liked this book. I will also check out the next book too. The characters were interesting, some in good ways and others not so much.
If you want a good story and a quick read then you should get this book.

It's Okay

I struggle with my review for this book, not because it was bad, but it was okay. The story? Interesting but not majorly intriguing. The characters? Again, okay. There were some interesting personality quirks, but many of the characters were unoriginal, cookie cutter, and two dimensional. The narrator? She was okay. She had a clear voice, and there were decent tone and inflection changes that kept it from bring monotone; however, the narration felt more "read from a page" than "live action". I did like the descriptions and setting; author Bella Night very easily illustrated the images in the story. I struggled with some of the characterizations, particularly the males' attitudes and just their cultural norms altogether. I wanted to really like the book, but it mostly felt fair to middlin' - not horrible but not great. There just weren't any standout parts for me. I will certainly give both the author and the narrator another try and hopefully the next time will be a solid winner.

What??

This is a great story, full of action, nice pace, loved the characters and the story line mostly( to be continued). Liked the tie into the Indian nation and how a mother can become paranoid about their child's life, this is an enjoyable series and well voiced. I received a free audio of this story and am leaving a review voluntarily.

This is the first audio book

about shifters I have ever heard. The story itself was really interesting. I loved the Native American aspect. The main female characters so wild and in your face, with her tattoos and riding a motorcycle. The love story and connection between her and her wolf shifter was great. certainly cant wait to continue to hear/read more from this author.

Thrilling ride through many challenges and secrets

Our heroin, Etti, is a live at home Native American tattoo artist at her shop, which caters to shifters. One night, in her shop, she meets Grey, who is a member of The Hunt, which is charged with revenge against humans for ancient wrongs.
I won't spoil the story with further details. But I am guessing that you read the blurb, so you know all of the above details.
There are twists and turns, betrayals and lovemaking, violence and abandonment, secrets and trials through the story. The steam level is fairly high with some variety in the encounters, which are free of kink. There is a good helping of necessary and justified character development as the delicious plot unfolds. I loved the way the story elements were woven together.

This is the first novel in a series, and I enjoyed trying to recognize foreshadowing for subsequent stories. It's probably not even a minor spoiler to mention that there's unresolved issues at the end of the volume, leaving a "cliff hanger" feeling, even though there is a kind of happy-for-now denouement.

There were bothersome changes in the voicing of the characters at some of the chapter breaks. It felt to me like there may have been multiple recording sessions spread over a long enough period that the characterizations were not fresh in the narrator's mind after the breaks between sessions. This takes a bit away from the listener's sense of continuity, but the overasll performance was still great, as far as I am concerned.

I heartily recommend this listen.

Loved it!

This was so amazing! I was thinking since it’s so short, it wouldn’t be as good as a longer book. But what a wonderful surprise! I feel like I got a full size book. It grabbed hold of me and didn’t let go. I loved Etti’s character. Well, all the characters were great and well developed. Her and Grey were great together. It’s a clean read. When sex is in the picture, it is just mentioned without a lot of details. Etti’s mom is a piece of work. I know she probably means well but I did not like her. I’m hoping the next book will have more on the rogue pack and finally kill Derrick. If you like Twilight, you will love this. It has the same feel but is also unique in its own way.

The narrator was wonderful! Very good at doing different voices.

Nice read

First book by this author for me and so glad I did. This book is full of action, danger and hot romance, all bundled into a unique and entertaining story. I read the book first and then had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook, which made the story an even better delight. I received an advanced copy of this audiobook and I’m voluntarily leaving this review.
