Publisher's summary

A retired alien bodyguard. A luscious human female he craves. He’ll do whatever it takes to make her his by Christmas.

Gabriela Romero is a single mother struggling to make ends meet. With Christmas fast approaching, she’s lost work, she’s late on rent, and the zeroes in her bank account are on the wrong side of the decimal point. Fortunately, she has a couple bright spots in her life—her amazing daughter, Ana, and her brief interactions with her gorgeous neighbor from across the street, Mason Lee.

He’s big, strong, kind, and he’s great with Ana. Plus, he looks at Gabriela like he wants to devour her. How could a man like him be real? When he finally asks her out—and an unexpected job comes her way—it seems Gabriela’s luck is finally turning around. Until the universe decides to give her a reality check and disaster strikes.

In Gabriela’s most desperate moments, Mason rushes to the rescue. But her savior isn’t what he seems. He’s a seven-foot-tall alien with horns and glowing violet eyes. Did she run into the arms of an otherworldly demon, or will this unusual being save Christmas—and claim Gabriela’s heart in the process?

Sweet with a tiny bit of spice

This a very cute romance. It's a bit cheesey but it's fun. I wish the relationship had progressed at a pace that felt a bit more natural but I enjoyed it nonetheless. My main gripe was the Spanish pronunciation. I don't expect perfect Spanish in an English audiobook but it was barely intelligible at times. Mercifully it only happened a few times throughout the book. I really appreciated that the narrator did not give the little girl an over the top high-pitched voice. it was distinct but not annoying!!

Whoa!

This book was so much more than I expected! It was clever, captivating, sweet, heartfelt, and fun. It had depth. I loved how well each of the relationships were developed between the three main characters: mother, daughter & hunky alien. It reads more like a cozy monster romance than a sci-fi romance. Simply perfect!

Rescue romances are the best!

I just got finishing the 3rd book in the Aliens Among Us series! It was my favorite because it had a little bit of a lot of what I like! Mother w/daughter, falling on hard times and then in danger, alien to the rescue! Plus alien lust/love at first sight, Sexy times and yes - snow and Christmas holiday! The narrator, Zachary, did a great job with the alien’s accents and female voices too! Once again thank you Tiffany for another great story!

Christmas Magic

I loved the fact that the MMC loved the MFC and her child and that they accepted him fully. I also love the Christmas romance that was so sweet. The narrator does a decent job and has my attention from start to finish.

Boring compilation of stereotypes

This book could have been a one page essay or two minute audio novella. This is not a good representation of Tiffany Roberts creativity. Boring as all hell. Ridiculous and patronizing.
