About this listen

"Everly," he growls. "I'm claiming you as mine, right here, right now."

Silas

I want a wife who knows what it means to live off the grid, cook my food, and keep my bed warm. In exchange, I'll give her a lifetime of happiness in the form of my cock. But damn, Everly's more than I bargained for, and I don't think she has any idea what it means to be mine. Hell, I wanted a wife, but I'm not sure I know how to live with a woman.

Everly

Did I expect to be a mail-order bride at 22? No. But honestly, my life could be a helluva lot worse. The agency says this Alaskan mountain man is rich, hot as heck, and willing to pay off my student loans. I'm crossing my fingers he's everything I signed up for. But I may be a little over my head. Mostly because I'm marrying a stranger, and also because I've never dated. Period. Clearly I have no clue how to be a wife, but it's too late to back out now.

*WARNING: This story features a mountain man who knows exactly what he wants. And how he wants it. Don't one-click if you want a tame mail order bride story; this is a classic Frankie Love romance, steamy as hell with a HEA.

It's not hard to guess the subject of this story and it was well done. I liked the heroine and that she stands up for herself. The narration was well done also.

Big and sexy tough guy!

Yummy, sexy story about a modern-day mail order brides. Subtle sweetness with a mix of heat sexytimes make this a delicious read.

I review for the Guilty Indulgence Review Site.

Firstly, I think I prefer Eric London's narration over Lillian Claire's. Not because his voice is sexy (because it is) bout because I could feel the story better when he was speaking. His narrative was smooth and clear, and I feel as though he has perfected the craft. Lillian Cclaire is also a great narrator, but I do feel it could have been done better. This aside, I enjoyed this book so much! Frankie Love is one of my go to authors and I simply adore her work.

I like the premise of this story, but Everly wasn't my favorite character. She's young and completely inexperienced with men and decides to move away from her friends to marry a man she's never met. Of course she's nervous and unsure, but Silas was nice to her and treated her well from the start and I wanted her to at least get to know him before deciding to leave and forge the whole thing. The male narrator did a good job and it's a quick and dirty book so overall not bad.

Good premise, okay story

Male lead was good. I skipped all the female voice, voice was cringe worthy and nasally. Don’t even get me started on her male impersonation (tragic)!... The female character was naive, self-centered, & immature. Personally wouldn’t recommend.

Hate The Female Lead

What did you love best about Claimed by the Mountain Man?

The evolution of the relationship between Everly and Silas was fun to watch. She being so shy and introverted at the start, then really blooms in the presence of Silas who has such a great appreciation for her.

What did you like best about this story?

I especially enjoyed the ugly duckling becomes beautiful swan aspect. If the domination by Silas had included spanking and discipline, this would most certainly be a FIVE STAR story.

Which scene was your favorite?

All of the sex scenes were totally HOT!!! my favorite scene was at the end when she finds out his true financial status etc.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I did.

Any additional comments?

The alternating narration between male and female was especially enjoyable as both narrators were exceptionally talented.

Very sweet love story
