About this listen

I may be an Alaskan fisherman, but I didn't expect my catch of the day to be Alice.

When I pull her from the water and see her wet clothes clinging to all the right places, I want to strip her of them and make her mine.

By the time she's below deck, naked in my bed - I learn that she's more than a virgin. She's the woman of my f--king dreams.

But I haven't told her everything about me. My secrets will push her away.

And I don't want that - we're playing a game where she's my make-believe bride ... and I can't lose her before I turn this into something real.

What started as super dirty turned into something super sweet. I loved the character development even on something so short. The narration was great on something that was dual POV.

Short and dirty and a little sweet

I have fallen in love with Frankie's writing style. And this book is no exception. her characters are so diverse and always have such intriguing backgrounds. This book is full of struggle. Alice struggles with her family, music and her desire for freedom. While Adian struggles with desire for Mrs. Right, love and acceptance of who he is, family not included. These two are a good match and Chum is a fun side character.

Any additional comments?

This story was shorter and it was a good story about an Alaskan fisherman who happens to find the girl he never knew he wanted. They have a whirl wind courtship. It was a quick and dirty story. It was a good listen.

Short and sweet

This audiobook story was one of an accidental meeting that resulted in instant love. The cultured cellist and the wealthy mountain man from Alaska hit all the right spots for romance. The only thing I didn’t like about the audiobook was the narration! It really needed a male voice.

Great instalove romance!

Aiden is an Alaskan fisherman, who is going through a nasty divorce from his gold-digging wife. Alice is a cellist, auditioning for a chair with Seattle Symphony. While on an Alaskan cruise with her overbearing family, Alice runs off for a day alone on a fishing charter. Except that she misses the charter then topples off the pier when a dog comes bounding towards her. Aiden rescues Alice from the freezing water after his dog scares her and she falls in. He takes her back to his boat to get her warmed up. Alice uses this opportunity to rebel against her rigid parents and spends the day being ‘warmed’ by Aiden. The pair feel a connection and promise to keep in touch. Alice needs a date to her sister’s wedding in spite of the entire family trying to pair her iff w a sleazebag. Of course she invites Aiden. Alice’s family and the sleaze bag do not approve of Aiden...because he’s a fisherman and can’t afford to give Alice ‘the life that she’s accustomed to’. Little do they know that he’s a millionaire fisherman. Will Alice allow her family to influence her feelings for Aiden? Will Aiden’s pending divorce have any bearing on A&A happiness? Maybe :)
Quick sweet story with some ex & other boyfriend drama but we finally get an HEA!
