Clarence Larkin
Clarence Larkin (1850-1924) was a pastor, author, and theologian. Published in 1918, The Book of Daniel examines the Biblical book of Daniel in detail. An entire chapter is devoted to the dream of King Nebuchadnezzar and Daniel’s interpretation of it. Larkin also investigates and interprets the Book of Revelation, with reference to earlier books of the Bible. The author believed that the Book of Daniel holds the key to an understanding of Revelation, the final book of the New Testament. The Spirit World is a comprehensive study of Biblical references to the unseen realm with chapters titled "Powers of Good and Evil", "The Underworld", "Satan", "The Fallen Angels", "Demonism", "The Intermediate State", and "The Resurrection of the Body".

Specifically looking for The Spirit World, I am pleased to find this set. It will be needed to have Clarence Larkin's Exposition of both Daniel and Revelation. All three are a unit. They can be taught separate, and often are, but, there is great benefit in taking the time to study it all as a unit. The angel Gabriel is held up fighting the prince of Persia on his way to speak with Daniel- and the war isn't over. Revelation continues and enhances understanding of demons, Satan, the Lake of Fire. We do not have to like it, but, wr are already immortal, and our soul will not die.
The most interesting was that punishment does not bring remorse. Confession is not repentance. The rich man of Luke 16 did not repent, but he desired relief of his thirst and misery.
I also had to go back and listen to the part where Saul absolved the witch of Endor of the consequences of het sin of witchcraft. Because she was terrified that Samuel actually appears!
Also, the myth of purgatory is proven false. There is only heaven or hell. Either your bill states "paid in full" by faith alone, or you are doomed forever. But there is only one way, God's way. And I like the simple style of presentation.
The narrator uses the annoying habit of pronouncing Scripture reference as abbreviations, but otherwise, he does well. He reads well, in a voice which is easy to listen to.

By way of a recommendation to its creators, since you have gone to the trouble of putting together this trifecta of Larkin material, it would be nice to have included in this set Larkins Magnum Opus: Dispensational Truth, even if it meant paying more for the set.
Thanks so much for whomever created this set. I have found it very helpful, especially in a day and age when time is so precious and there never seems to be enough of it in any given day.
Like a run-on sentence!
