Publisher's summary

After getting back from vacation, Recker finds himself with not much to do. With work in the city at an all-time low, Recker is approached by a familiar face. Michelle Lawson has a job for him in regards to an illegal arms dealer that has continuously given the CIA the slip. Feeling like he can trust her and work for the agency again for one job, Recker agrees to do the assignment once all his conditions are met.

With Jones and Haley on board, the team heads off to London to find their target. It's back to where everything started for Recker when the CIA initially tried to terminate him. But what they hope is a short-term assignment turns into a much longer stay, and with Mia having problems of her own at home, Recker turns to old friends in order to help him accomplish his mission and get home faster.

Another great Silencer book

I love this series... it doesn't have all the technical tactical jargon you get with other thrillers but the story is fun and very good

An unexpected letdown

After having enjoyed most of the series this book lacked any real interest or suspense and I honestly couldn’t wait for it to end. No compelling interesting bad guys like in other books and no real logic to the entire scenario either

ok story

it was a bit hard to finish the story.. it seemed like the author was trying to complete his contract and just put together a story.. books 1-8 are very good.. but 9th one is not on the same level

Poor Range

I like the previous series, but this story was really disappointing. It was slow and boring with stilted dialog. I started to quit listening, but hoped it would improve. All the usual characters lacked energy. What's up with having people that are close friends being able to say what's on their mind? Dull, stilted story with a rushed ending. There was very little action in this audio. Brian Hutchison did a credible job of narration with this tired book. I don't think I will go for more silencer series. Janice
