About this listen

Sean Royale is AWOL and in trouble.

Molly’s mom is encroaching on the operation on Gaitune.

And the university is under threat from a new player in the system.

Tensions mount as secrets unfurl, culminating in Molly walking down the aisle to try and save her ruggedly handsome friend.

Meanwhile, Paige and Maya stay behind to protect the home front as best they can: with only a few yoll-aritas, and a bad boy AI to help.

There is no doubt: trouble is brewing in the Sark System.

And it’s bigger than any of them could imagine.

--- PLEASE NOTE ---
Inside this book is cursing - amusing cursing, but cursing nonetheless. If bad language offends you, perhaps this book is not for you.

Set on the foundation laid by the Kurtherian Gambit series, The Ascension Myth tells an entirely new story in the Age of Expansion - when the Etheric Empire is fast becoming the Etheric Federation with all of the trials and tribulations that come with bringing together different peoples, systems, and ideals.

Nice little story as usual

I'm enjoying this series. This one was perhaps a bit on the light side. We're getting hints of dastardly plots, but this was all just lead up. We get a cute Sean story as the main plot, and it's okay I guess.

On the negative side, there is almost an hour of "author notes" at the end, and they are insufferable. They may write good stories, but if I met these two at a party, I'd be looking at an excuse to get away from them after about two minutes. If they're going to dedicate a good chunk of the book to such notes, at least get Pearl Hewitt to do half of that. She's been interesting in the past, but this one was all Ell and Michael and I gave up about five minutes in.

Still good

I understand that sometimes you have to lead up to something more and it will be tedious. That's what I feel this book is. It is a good story, but not as good as previous ones. I have to believe that this book will be important to future books to make sense.
Nice job

kindle

why isn't the kindle version linked to the book and a few others from the series?
