Some good info

I felt like about half of this book was useful to me. There seemed to be tons of repetition and some of the writing seemed very awkward. One example of the awkwardness (not exact quote): "he initiated the initial copy". There were multiple occurrences of sentences like this through out the book.
Also, some of the book also felt like it had been written by AI (artificial intelligence) because of the way the information was worded and presented...it felt "lifeless" and seemed to "talk in circles without presenting a point - hard to explain the feeling it gave. Example (not exact quote / I may be slightly off on the wording) - "Being a better listener requires you to understand where the other person is coming from. One way to do this is to understand where they are coming from"...
But, As I stated the book did have some useful information and I feel that I learned some points to improve my communications skills.
