About this listen

Kaysen and I are happy with our no-strings-attached relationship even though he‘s my boss.

Or so I thought.

Now he wants more.

I’m not capable of giving more of myself, but I’m afraid to lose him.

He’s everything I’ve ever dreamed of but wouldn’t allow myself to have.

I don’t deserve him.

Kaysen doesn’t agree.

If I’m honest, we’re perfect for each other in every way.

And that complicates everything.

execellent story and performance

This story was so refreshing from romance genre. I've been looking for a decent story where sex was not the main focus. I got exactly what I wanted. The main characters chemistry were off the charts! There were no games or " miss" communication where I found this in many romance story. And, let me tell you about the performance. Felicity and Edward nailed it! They made this story even better! I highly recommend!

Oh How I Loved!!

Wow! This book was an amazing listen. This is my first book from this author but don't think it will be me last. I love how mature this book was,. The issues these characters faced were so normal everyday people issues and delt with like grown folks would . It truly made this book fantastic.
The narration was spot on! I really enjoyed Felicity and will look for more books she has narrated. Edward is just amazing, I will gobble up anything he reads.
I definitely recommend this book!

Sweet Enjoyable Story.

After Unexpected Love I was excited for Complicated Love. It didn’t disappoint. And again I enjoyed a dedicated couple that communicates! it may the story so much more enjoyable. Yes there were ups and downs for the couple but they stay together & talked. Love that! Narration was fantastic!

Feel good love

I love that this story brought out not only the difficulty of giving up a child for adoption, but also the positive side and the selflessness it shows of the person trying to give their child a better life. I love the strong communication this author does so well. Nothing is more irritating than a story being given unnecessary angst due to miscommunication between the main characters. This story had it's own heartbreaking parts, but instead of having the hard stuff cause issues between Wynter and Kayson, it showed them becoming stronger.

2.5 stars. I needed more.

Although the narrating team of Edward Thomas (swoon) and Felicity Hart were great, this story did not captivate me in the way the 5 star reviews suggested it would. The heroine’s ex and his family felt one dimensional; and the heroine introduced the hero, her boss, to the reader as her “f**ck buddy” of five years. So we are not shown the first meet and the development of their relationship (although we are told a little). The writing relied on telling the reader that the couple are in love as the story began. Other elements of the story were too neat and tidy for me also.

The prologue was a good start, but some time spent showing the heroine’s struggles to survive the loss of her relationship with her ex, and some time spent showing us the beginnings of the new relationship which was to be the long-lasting one with the hero, would have elevated the story. But that’s just me. Don’t let my review put you off reading. I’m a hardened, demanding romance reader.
