Publisher's summary
Black voters have overwhelmingly supported the Democratic Party for the last fifty years - and for their loyalty, black Americans have been rewarded with worsening schools, collapsed families, skyrocketed incarceration rates, disappearing jobs, and rising crime. Crystal Wright, editor of the blog Conservative Black Chick, exposes how the Democratic Party has systematically betrayed black voters.
Democrats have pulled a big con job on blacks in America. Black voters have overwhelmingly supported the Democratic Party for the last fifty years. Where has that support gotten the black community? Democrats have let black incarceration rates rise and marriage rates drop. They've let entire neighborhoods become dependent on welfare, and they've let education and job opportunities dwindle. So why do black voters keep voting for progressive Democratic candidates?
Crystal Wright, editor of the blog Conservative Black Chick, takes the Democratic Party to task in this bold, biting exposé of the Democrats' systematic betrayal of the blindly loyal black community.

Story
The quest for social justice is a powerful crusade of our time, with an appeal to many different people, for many different reasons. But those who use the same words do not always present the same meanings. Clarifying those meanings is the first step toward finding out what we agree on and disagree on. From there, it is largely a question of what the facts are. Social Justice Fallacies reveals how many things that are thought to be true simply cannot stand up to documented facts, which are often the opposite of what is widely believed.

Ann Coulter is back, more fearless than ever. In Adios, America she touches the third rail in American politics, attacking the immigration issue head-on and flying in the face of La Raza, the Democrats, a media determined to cover up immigrants' crimes, churches that get paid by the government for their "charity," and greedy Republican businessmen and campaign consultants - all of whom are profiting handsomely from mass immigration that's tearing the country apart.

For decades, the Left has been putting on a play with themselves as heroes in an ongoing civil rights movement - which they were mostly absent from at the time. Long after pervasive racial discrimination ended, they kept pretending America was being run by the Klan and that liberals were black America’s only protectors. It took the O. J. Simpson verdict - the race-based acquittal of a spectacularly guilty black celebrity as blacks across America erupted in cheers - to shut down the white guilt bank.

What is "the big lie" of the Democratic Party? That conservatives - and President Donald Trump in particular - are fascists. Nazis, even. In a typical comment, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow says the Trump era is reminiscent of "what it was like when Hitler first became chancellor." But in fact, this audacious lie is a complete inversion of the truth. Yes, there is a fascist threat in America - but that threat is from the Left and the Democratic Party.

"We were eight years in power" was the lament of Reconstruction-era Black politicians as the American experiment in multiracial democracy ended with the return of white supremacist rule in the South. Now Ta-Nehisi Coates explores the tragic echoes of that history in our own time: the unprecedented election of a Black president followed by a vicious backlash that fueled the election of the man Coates argues is America's "first White president".

When Bernie Sanders began his race for the presidency, it was considered by the political establishment and the media to be a "fringe" campaign, something not to be taken seriously. After all, he was just an independent senator from a small state with little name recognition. His campaign had no money, no political organization, and it was taking on the entire Democratic Party establishment. By the time Sanders' campaign came to a close, however, it was clear that the pundits had gotten it wrong.

Story
Why is it that so many efforts by liberals to lift the Black underclass not only fail, but often harm the intended beneficiaries? In Please Stop Helping Us, Jason L. Riley examines how well-intentioned welfare programs are in fact holding Black Americans back. Minimum-wage laws may lift earnings for people who are already employed, but they price a disproportionate number of Blacks out of the labor force. Affirmative action in higher education is intended to address past discrimination, but the result is fewer Black college graduates than would otherwise exist.

He urges both sides to abandon the politics of accusation and focus on real solutions. Calling us to a deeper patriotism, he shows us how to get down to the vital business of solving, together, some of our toughest problems.

Cops, politicians, and ordinary people are afraid of black men. The result is the Chokehold: laws and practices that treat every African American man like a thug. In this explosive new book, an African American former federal prosecutor shows that the system is working exactly the way it's supposed to. Black men are always under watch, and police violence is widespread - all with the support of judges and politicians.

Donald Trump isn't a politician - he's a one-man wrecking ball against our dysfunctional and corrupt establishment. We're about to see the deluxe version of the left's favorite theme: Vote for us, or we'll call you stupid. It's the working class against the smirking class. Now Ann Coulter, with her unique insight, candor, and sense of humor, makes the definitive case for why we should all join his revolution.

Story
The size and stability of the American middle class were once the envy of the world. But changes unleashed in the 1960s pitted Americans against one another politically in new and destructive ways. These battles continued to rage from that day to now, while everyone has fallen behind economically except the wealthy. Right-wing culture warriors blamed the decline on the moral shortcomings of "other" Americans - black people, feminists, gays, immigrants, union members - to court a fearful white working- and middle-class base with ever more bitter "us vs. them" politics.

From Georgia to Colombia to Ghana and Italy - crime exists in every democratic nation on earth, but in some places, it runs rampant, shaping all aspects of civic life. A Savage Order investigates why and how some places, riddled by inept government and states, are able to recover. Drawing on fifteen years of both academic and firsthand field research, Dr. Rachel Kleinfeld documents the unambiguous measures that societies have taken to empower the strong civic movements, governments, and institutions that protect countries and mitigate atrocities that damage people's lives.

The New York Times best-selling author explores today's American culture, drawing from his travels as a presidential candidate to present average, small-town people and families, and their optimistic resilience in the face of hard times.

Important balance on racism
This is an outstanding discussion of what needs to be done to truly move the needle with regard to the plight of the disadvantaged. The author discusses the problems in frank terms. She makes clear that we cannot solve the problems by continuing the same failed policies of the last 50 years.

This book should be used as a textbook
As another conservative, it's refreshing to see an accurate portrayal of historical decisions and their consequences without any P. C. lens distortion. My hat's off to Ms Wright for an accurate, well researched accounting of what was and what is. Her book will hopefully make what will be a better place.

Fantastic Book – Super Relevant 8 Years Later!
I highly recommend this book.
What I was amazed was how this book was still relevant and seemed to be written last year. I checked twice to see the publication date of January 2016, which meant it was written in 2015. She even quoted Donald Trump a few times!
The author, Crystal Wright, has a great pulse on the African American community and how the Democrats are conning Blacks and other Democrats.
I liked her personal stories dealing with real discrimination.
Overall comments?
Very good listen. The narrator did a great job. Very informative.
Would you consider the audio edition to be better than the print version?
Yes. Very good book and reading.

Awesome!
Thank you, Ms. Wright! Thank you for providing us with a well-written, balanced, insightful and intelligent depiction of the Democratic Party and the real state of race relations in America today. Thank you for being a brave individual thinker, unwilling to be bullied into silence. Thank you also for sharing your family's personal experience of racial discrimination - one of the true stories of racism in our country's history that is, sadly, diminished by so many false alarms and hoaxes sensationalized by those striving to deepen the racial divide.

I really enjoyed this book and hope that other understand the true meaning of the author. That's is to question group thinking and stand on their own ideas.
