About this listen

Welcome to Black Diamond Resort and Spa....

Growing up in a small town in Georgia, I never dreamed of starting a band that would blow up from a viral video, or that I'd live in a mansion on the beach in Miami, Florida.

Since we were seven years old, my best friend Percy had dreamed big enough for both of us. He'd always known this would be our future.

But he's been slowly killing me for years, and yet he's the only reason I'm still alive. He needs me. He needs me for comfort. He needs me to hold him and love him. Percy wants to live in my skin, and even that wouldn't be close enough.

But he doesn't want me the way I want him.

Money. Fame. Medications. Therapy.

None of that could've prevented what transpired that night, and even though it put me in a mental health facility, I don't regret it. Not one bit.

Because without him, there is no me.

Consumed is an M/M romance between two highly codependent childhood best friends. Intended for mature listeners.

I was thrilled to get another audiobook from this author after falling in love with their Worthless Boys series. Their storytelling makes their characters so authentic. Great narration for this book too. Loved it all.

Bailey Nicole will always be a one-click author for me.

This story had me in a chokehold until the very end. It was hard to put down and I’m actually sad it’s over! This is my absolute favorite out of the series. The writing was beautiful and the connection with Winston and Percy is palpable. Narration truly brought it to life! 10/10

I loved this. My only complaint is that there’s no trigger warning at the beginning. This isn’t the first time I’ve listened to something on audible and it not had a trigger warning at the beginning but they def should.

Good story.

Wow I wasn’t aware of Bailey Nicole’s game this was a great book!

Make sure to check trigger warnings there is a ton of drug use and fighting and mentions of self harm.

I loved this book and it was everything I was craving they are very codependent and crazy toxic but it was like crack to my brain. I was surprised they address this with therapy and honesty and fixing some of that toxicity at the end.

There’s not much story other than the romance which is what I was looking for. This book reminds me of Firefly by Emmy Sanders with the childhood pining and unrequited love of a best friend but mixed with other books like exiled by Jessie Walker with the drug abuse/mental health/therapy aspect. If you have read Always Him by Cora Rose and loved it you will LOVE this book!

The narrators really made this book special. Both voices were very distinctive and really pulled me into the story. Some books I get confused with narration who’s who or the voices don’t match the character. Bailey did a great job with casting for this one.

I would recommend this book to those that adore pining, tension, angst and a well earned HEA.

This was amazing

This story is the definition of being in your own head… holding in feelings in fear of losing something you hold so dear.

I really loved this book.they sacrificed there feelings towards each other for the other person.

While frustrating, things like this do happen in real life out of fear of the unknown. It’s so sad.

Narrators did so great! Bravo!

Second guessing
