Publisher's summary

Story takes place in the Omegaverse.

Injured in the army over three years ago, Noah Wilson walked away with his life, but lost his hearing. It's taken him years and the support of his family and friends to adapt to a new normal. While he's content with his life, his family keeps hoping he'll settle down with a nice omega or maybe just, you know, leave his ranch occasionally. Personally, he just wants to park his introverted butt at home and spend time with his horses.

After seeing so many of his friends and family fall in love and settle down, Noah starts to think maybe having someone might be worth the trouble of dating. Maybe.

As a former Marine, Zed Ames is an alpha that needs to take care of his loved ones. He practically raised his younger brother and dotes on his nieces. He even has a newly discovered half brother to get to know. What he doesn’t have is someone of his own to care for and adore. As his brothers keep telling him, he’s a big, old nurturer and needs a sweet omega to take care of. Whether he likes it or not.

The longer he's in Hobson Hills, the more he thinks maybe they're right. At least partly. When Zed meets Noah, he realizes that he doesn't need an omega, alpha, beta, or anyone else. What he needs is Noah, the man that fits perfectly with him. Now, Zed just needs to convince the other alpha that despite their pasts, self-doubts, and meddlesome families, they belong together.

Author's Note: Around 46,000 words. This is a m/m, friends-to-lovers romance with no angst and no cheating, just a HEA. While the story takes place in the Omegaverse, both main characters are alphas. There is still plenty of mpreg included in the story through the secondary characters. Listeners 18 years of age and older only, please. It is the eighth book in the series and should be heard after book seven, The Alpha's Christmas Wish.

Your Person

I love the fact that this explores a relationship that would be considered unconventional in the omegaverse. These two men are strong and yet are perfect for each other. I am so glad Noah got his story. I listened to the audio version and it was very well done.

Great story!

Noah and Zed, two alphas in love. Their story was sweet and fun, with all the zany Wilson shenanigans. I love listening to the Hobson Hills stories as they bring the author's words to life in an even more tangible way.

So Good

This was book 8 in the "Hobson Hills Omegas " series. This was one of my favorite books in this series. Alpha Noah Wilson has been through a lot he is Elijah's little brother who they rescued from a mental hospital that his parents put him in after he lost his hearing after being deployed. Alpha Zed Ames has also been through a lot he came to Hobson Hills after getting out of the Marines to meet his brother he didn't know he had Justin turns out his father had two families at the same time that he left. Zed is currently working with Abel at his brewery when he gets roped into adopting three mini horses The Sandwich Crew he meets Noah who has agreed to house them on his horse farm. These two become friends although they are attracted to each other. This was a good read Zed begin learning ASL so he could talk to Noah more. When the family finds out Noah is ready to date they begun fixing him up with Omegas and Zed's brothers begin doing the same for him they end up going on a double date but end up having more fun with each other. Noah thinks that Zed wouldn't want him. When his father begins demanding money again Zed steps up to help protect Noah. These two begin dating and living together and at a party Zed gets a surprise turns out he has three more siblings. I loved this family and this book. I also loved the narrator. I am looking forward to listening to the next book in this series.

Loved It.

Loving Curtis Lee's take on the characters, he has done an excellent job with the narration of the last few books.
