1st Patterson book a 3

Story disjointed n over the top scenarios. Not quite up to Mr. Patterson’s standards. Had to suspend reality several times to finish. Ending suggests there may b a Book 2.
Meh.

Not worth reading

I was very engaged in the story until the end. I stayed up to finish the book. The end was weak and unsatisfying. I can’t believe I traded sleep to finish this book.

Amy Cornwall is a bad ass

Don’t know if this is the first or the beginning of a series but I sure would love to read more about this tough lady, soldier and CIA agent. Sad, she had to lose her family, thought they were okay in the hospital.

Realism

I like the real politics in the story. It was scary to think things like this could and probably do happen.

One of his best!

I believe this was one of his best!
A solid plot, fast action, good narrator and the book held my attention for all the above reasons.

At first I wasn’t sure

When the book 1st started, I was uncertain if it was going to be a good one. But in typical James Patterson style, it grabbed me pretty quickly and held me all the way through. Fun, story and lots of intrigue. Easy to stay engaged. Another good one.

Disappointing

Not a typical JP thriller. Story left me with wasted time feeling. I don’t recommend it for Patterson fans.
