🔥🔥🔥 HOT LIKE FIRE

Another gripping page turner that had me biting my nails with anticipation of what's going to happen next! Each character played a vital role in this storyline! I loved how it was all part of what's going on in today's society. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, trying to predict how it will unfold. I actually loved the ending it gave! This was very enjoyable and worth your money/credit!

What an amazing book

This book was a pleasant change of pace from my normal collection. Briana Cole kept me on the edge of my seat addressed a lot of topics plaguing the black community. Cherry Malone is such an eloquent reader. A complete breath of fresh air. Worth every penny and credit. Bravo

Lot's of surprises

I listened to couples wanted on Audible. This book was suggested by one of the members in The Shades of Pink Social Book Club on Facebook. I enjoyed Couples Wanted by Briana Cole. It was not what I expected to be. There were several surprises throughout the book. The characters were not who you thought they were. Some of the characters had me cussing out loud or running to post my outburst in SOP Book club.

The book was well read and kept my attention. It took me on probably my first and last trip to the Swingers Club. I found out not everybody is following the Swinger rules. LOL! Well, unless I read about one in another book. I would recommend this book to other readers.

Interesting Wild Read

This story is wild but so interesting that it pulls you in from the start. Does not end that way you think it should end…

Intriguing Story Line

I thought the Audible would have been better with someone who sounded more like the characters….

I Don’t Like the Message

While violence never solves anything, you have to be careful what you do to ppl. I don’t like the way the husband was viewed because I would’ve probably done the same thing. The way this book ended wasn’t for me. Great story nevertheless.

Interesting but a Bit flat

There were themes that were very intriguing in this book with lots of layers but it felt like it didn’t actually have much happening throughout despite there being a lot to work with. It almost felt like it was trying to do too many things at once and in doing so wasn’t able to flush out any of the themes in any meaningful way.

In addition it felt like the ending was rushed and was too neat and tidy and “easy”. Found it challenging to believe the resolutions would be so succinct given what did occur throughout.

The narrator was fantastic and I think it was her delivery that kept me engaged with the characters more than the actual story.

Great story BUT that’s exactly what it was, just a story.

Ok the book was actually very interesting. It kept my attention all the way through. But me personally, I don’t like when people give other people false hope or information. But it’s entertainment so almost anything goes. But to those people who take this stuff to heart I really feel bad for them. They might actually try to do some off this stuff and think they are justified. I don’t want to give away any details but how dare someone lie about such an important piece of their life and not expect consequences. You should never mess with someone’s mental state in this way. Man or woman. This is such a serious issue. People lose their minds over being deceived in this way. As much as “you” claim to be hurting about what you went through, go through and would have to go through physically and mentally you are actually do the same thing to another person. But you are selfish and only care about your own feelings. You want what you want no matter who else it hurts but when you feel the hurt you want it acknowledged but when you deceive and hurt someone else you could care less. As long as you get to feel good and get what you want. That is a sick and selfish person. Tell the truth. You say it’s not your fault, you were born this way…. Well it’s not their fault you were born that way either but you seem to want to make your potential lover pay for something they didn’t even do to you. I’m saddened all the way around. But it was a great story.

4 main characters and none of them likeable

Wow I've never seen so many main characters that I think were meant to be flawed but were just horrible people. I was so excited to have a book with successful black people, queer people, married swingers, a suspense?! When I say I was READY! But OMFG who gets married to a man that has a kid and lies about wanting kids, are we siding with the stalker here who stays with a man who you KNOW is a rapist (apart from all the other things he is), and THE MEN... I'm just upset. Also the author did not distinguish between characters so it was easy to miss who was talking so meh
