About this listen

The black hole has sucked me in...and I don't want to get out.

Ramses' plan is dark. It can get darker, but not only am I here for it, I'm so ready. It's time to bring some justice in this town. It's time to open some f--king doors and be a voice for someone who didn't have one.

My sister, Paige, didn't get to tell her story. What happened to her was covered up, and I'm going to prove that. My only obstacle is Royal Prinze, the one person who's plagued me since I got to this seriously messed-up town. He's goading me to see things aren't what they seem. He's goading me to see his truth, but I won't be kept.

He's kept me for too long already.

Warning: This enemies-to-lovers high school romance contains some dark themes and light bullying. The book is not a stand-alone and is book three in a four-part series of full-length novels. Royal Prinze is the only hero of this tale - good luck getting him to share.

Wow, what a rollercoaster!

Let me first say I absolutely love anything Kasi Hollowell narrates, she does an amazing job really digging deep into these characters, makes them come alive, and emotes all the various emotions for the MCs and for the side characters flawlessly. I haven't read the books, but she is painting a picture for me in my head as I listen that makes me want to hold off getting book 4 until I can listen to it (I will buy the ebooks afterward but I need the first time to be listening!). I thought the addition of Michael Gallagher was nice for Ramses (was 100% necessary but I enjoyed it nonetheless!) and Gregory did a great job at Royal again! Made me feel the tension, added to the suspense....dying for book 4 already 🤣

In terms of the story. we get more of a rollercoaster with Royal and December after stuff goes down between Royal and Ramses, December gets to see more behind the thick impenetrable wall that Royal has erected up and he leaves her reeling with just on phrase that stabs you in the heart while at the same time pumping it back to life. We learn more about Royal and his father's dynamic, we learn more about the Court's reach and Ramses' family situation. I feel bad for Ramses because Royal and Em are endgame and he is going to be left in the dust. I have some crazy suspicions with some of the side characters, thinking they are involved in Paige's murder, but I don't want to write them down because I am probably so off haha. Eden does a great job keeping us guessing and I CANNOT WAIT to see where she goes with it in book 4!! I will say I am becoming more intrigued by the other Court guys and just realized they each have their own story out so I am hoping those hit audio too at some point! I loved seeing progress between Royal and Em, they need to get back on track since there is only 1 book left and a lot of story left to tell hahaha. The ending was shocking because I thought that character was going to create even more drama for Em but Eden threw us for a loop there too haha.

Loved this audiobook, 5/5 stars

Court Kept

December's story continued as she and Ramses work on their plan to understand what happened to Paige. She also still has a connection to Royal making room for an interesting dynamic. Overall this was a great story, but I have to admit that December drive me crazy. There were times when she just didn't catch the hint and left me frustrated.

The narration was awesome and I enjoyed getting 3 different voices to bring each character to life.

Great series!

Very good narration and not too much sexually explicit language which is nice be they’re in high school

The cliffhanger though😭

This one was super fast paced gritty and engaging.

I found the characters to be intense and three dimensional.

The narration was superb and very enjoyable.

This once ends on a cliffy though! So we warned.

Court High Series

Court Kept (Court High, Book 1) is a high school enemies to lovers romance series that is explosive. What we get is Sexy times✔ Lies✔ a videotape✔ and much more secrets ✔ and lies✔ cascading through the pages. The world building settings and descriptions are detailed lightly dark, and twists intricately weaved into the plot. A steller class of supporting dramatis personae. The bombshell ending leaves you toes on pins and needles waiting. I absolutely love ❤ this series and cannot wait for the final audio in this series.

Kasi Hollowell, Gregory Salinas, Michael Gallagher multi-cast performance brought the characters and their story to reality. Kasi Hallowell is a talented narrator and her inflection is sweet, smooth and easy listening. Absolutely love listening to her perform. Gregory Salinas is always enjoyable to listen to him narrate.

Who Owns Who?👑

A series would not be a series without the main couple getting separated mid-way. Fortunately for December, she had Ramses to lean on throughout this *difficult* time. I was so heartbroken over Royal. I really liked him, but I still wasn't sure why he was acting the way he did. Then, at the end, things clicked and it all made sense! But before we get to that point, we have Ramses and December working together to infiltrate the Court: them being a fake couple was the next logical leap! It's going to be another Jacob vs. Edward thing, I swear. (I was always Team Edward by the way. :P) Also, who knew a piece of jewelry would hold so much power... enemies one day, and cordial the next. I felt as if I was holding my breath the entire book, until the middle of chapter 25. Things seemed like they were getting better and it was a nice reprieve from the mystery of what happened to Paige. Still, so many unanswered questions: What was Em ruining for Royal? What was at stake? What did Royal think he had to do? What role does his father have to play in all of this? The cliffhanger ending and its shocking revelation seemed highly suspect. Who is behind all of this? As for the narration: I loved the addition of Michael Gallagher. Gregory did a fine job, as per usual. But Kasi was... merely acceptable. In all honesty, I wish someone better had performed Em's part. Then the total listening experience would have been outstanding. 🦩#PinkFlamingoProductions🦩#TheFlock-VIPReviewer

So close now!

Another great installment in the series! Once again, you're left on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what will happen as the secrets unravel, and then BAM, cliffhanger! I can't wait to get my hands on the next book.
The narration is fantastic!

Court Kept

Court Kept is the third book in the Court High series. This book is told from multiple perspectives from December, Royal, and Ramses.

December has found out the fate of her sister, but she still wants answers to what happened to her. Ramses is back and he and December plan for him to join to court to get insider information.

Royal has feelings for December, but he's hiding secrets from her as well. Ramses and December pretend to date, and Royal does not take it well thinking they are together. He doesn't like Ramses from when he was there in the past and how he treated everyone.

Can December get some of the answers she needs? Will her bond with Royal grow stronger? I'm loving this series so far, and I'm hoping December gets answers for her sister, as well as finding out all the secrets the court is keeping.
