About this listen

"An incredible story-teller." - The Los Angeles Daily News

It's a happy time for Sloan Trent and Jane Everett. What could be happier than the event of their wedding? Their Krewe friends will all be there and the event will take place in a medieval castle transported brick by brick to the New England coast. Everyone is festive and thrilled...until the priest turns up dead just hours before the nuptials.

Jane and Sloan must find the truth behind the man and the murder - the secrets of the living and the dead - before they find themselves bound for eternity - not in wedded bliss but in the darkness of an historical wrong and their own brutal deaths.

Any additional comments?

These books are so creative and keeps your attention. The narrator is excellent. Believable. I would recommend.

Heather Graham does it again and again

I can’t decide if the story is not very good or if it’s just that the narrator is so wrong for this story. I enjoy the Krewe of Hunters series and I don’t expect great literature from it. Usually these books are very entertaining but this one is a drag.

Nope, just nope

too short...I prefer a novel format...more time for developing characters and plots. this was too short.

novelette

That was painful. I miss the normal narrator that is usually with the Krewe of Hunters. He was rather one Note with no emotional reflection. He’d be great with a documentary not so much with a thriller.

Narrator is different

I’ve been reading the Krewe of Hunters in order and have so enjoyed all of them so very much. I even liked this book with the exception of the Narrator and I found him to be a bit boring compared to Luke Daniels. Mr. Daniels has a way of giving life to all the different people in Heather Graham’s books and it makes her books so much more interesting to listen too.

Crimson Twilight 11.5

I missed Luke Daniels. The story just didn’t have the same impact his performance brings.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I wouldn't read it again. Not absolutely horrid, but I didn't enjoy this work as much as many of her others.

Not Her Best Work

Once again, Graham brings suspense and romance together with a solid story and believable characters!

Hats off to Heather Graham!

I have listened to many of Heather Graham's books down through the years. this one even though it was short was just as good. The narrator did a good job but I'm still used to Luke Daniel's narration.

short & sweet
