About this listen

Killashandra, one of the most gifted singers on Ballybran, is drawn like a magnet to the song of crystal. In order to work with crystal, singers are infected with a symbiotic life form that heals them and gives them near eternal life—but slowly destroys their memories. Since crystal singing brings Killashandra ecstasy, she doesn't mind the initial small annoyances of memory loss. What she hadn't counted on was the loneliness she felt when her heart still remembered what her mind had forgotten—the names of her friends and lovers. Can the crystal that destroyed her memory somehow restore it? By reclaiming her unpleasant past, can Killashandra step forward into the future?

abridged!

great shortened version.
catches all the key events for a first read...but then follow up by reading the whole series in unabridged books.

Outstanding series and finale

If you enjoy science fiction, I find Anne McCaffrey thoroughly enjoying. Another is the Pern series of dragon books, which I forget how many books are in that series. It covers centuries of that world's development, if I remember correctly. I been a couple of decades since I read them. Enjoy.

Wishing it Wasn’t abridged

Love this Series would’ve been nice to hear it unabridged also the sound of the recording wasn’t as good as the other two

These are great stories. Absolutely a wonderful series, but I would love to have the unabridged version of them.

Killashandra's triumphant end

Killashandra has a few hard truths to face before she can become the best of herself. She and Lars have a huge argument that causes a rift in their relationship. I enjoyed the B&B ships' presence.

audio is pretty bad

all of these stories are great and the author tells it very well. the only problem with this one is that it sounds like it was recorded on tape from a radio station

I wish they had an unabridged version of this book

What made the experience of listening to Crystal Line the most enjoyable?

I love this series and this book. The abridged version leaves so much out and the recording was made so long ago on older technology. I still listen to this book and this series over and over again. I wish the they would get an unabridged version of this 3 book series.

great except audio quality

The audio quality is not very good, though, the story and performance are still very well done, despite this.
