Editorial reviews

Colin Bateman's sequel to Divorcing Jack continues its precursor's fast-paced and humorous journey through the fictional Northern Irish town of Crossmaheart. Miller, a bit of a lush, is a flawed but lovable hero. But how will he survive now that he has been banished by the Belfast newspaper for which he works? His life becomes only further complicated after he becomes involved with the girlfriend of a missing man. Andrew Jackson's performance is light and well-paced. He is amazingly successful at capturing the rhythm and culture of Ireland. This is a story of mystery and love.
