About this listen

One of the most enduring love stories of all time. Cyrano de Bergerac is the Platonic ideal of the fearless warrior who is paralyzed by romantic yearning. Confident in battle, but relentlessly self-doubting in love, Cyrano is unable to express his devotion to the beautiful Roxane. And when she falls in love with a handsome young cadet named Christian, Cyrano seizes the opportunity to use Christian as a proxy for his own unrequited feelings.

Great Family Intro

My kids loved this performance of a great story. The acting was voiced well and created a story that kept them to the end.

Sounds like H Jon Benjamin

Great short play obviously and well translated. Could not stop thinking it was an extra scene from Bob's Burgers or Archer though due to the lead's voice. still worth the listen and almost more fun this way.

A creative but not precise adaptation.

If one is expecting the more precise adaptation in words and order this is not it. But it is a creative and perhaps more modern translation which might still please.
