About this listen

Moving into my first house is step one in starting my new life. Next is setting up my contracting business. I'm so focused on my future that a relationship is the last thing on my mind.

Then I meet Tristan, the single dad next door. He might be my total opposite, but we click in a way I've never experienced, and he quickly becomes one of my closest friends.

After attending a wedding as his fake date to make his ex, and his ex's new boyfriend, jealous, I can't deny that things between us have changed. I always thought I was straight, but being with Tristan doesn't just feel good, it feels right.

Having a fling with my neighbor might be a recipe for disaster, but it could also be exactly what we both need to finally move on from our pasts.

Quinn and Tristan's story is a friends-to-lovers, bi-awakening romance between a retired porn model who just moved into his first home, and a single dad trying to navigate life after divorce. Expect a fake relationship, an age gap, found family, mental health rep, and all the feels as these neighbors find out that sometimes opposites really do attract. It is the fifth novel in the exciting new Crimson Club series but can be listened to as a standalone.

I'm in a relationship with a narcissist and all the things we find out he went through i go through. I found this to be a nice and fun listen. I found it little hard to picture Tristan and the voice together but that's the only little issue I had.

9/10 will recommend 👌🏽

connected with Tristans abusive past

My favorite of the series. Loved everything about it. Had a lot of content with mental health, divorce, found family, bi-awakening and a sh*t load of pets!
Loved the process of how Quinn and Tristan got together.
Narrators did a stellar job.

When the author manages to make the characters so relatable that you want to crawl into the book and hug them 😍😍😍 Sweet and heartwarming, low angst and Quinn’s ADHD was spot on. Loved the narration and the freak free bi-awakening.

Sweet and relatable

I loved the story and the fact that it wasn’t another one with characters lamenting how undeserving they were of love.

I adore this book and read it on KU but the audio makes me love it that much more. The narration is perfect!

another great couple to add to this growing group. sweet characters that start as friends. older man/younger man divorced with kid romance. Drama free and some really hot sex scenes. love this couple, love this series. Alexander Cendese and Aiden Snow did a great job narrating. This team is why books should always be duet narrated. 👏❤🔥

I loved this book so much, I was iffy about ready it but it had everything I needed storyline, sex, good characters all the Above.

The chemistry

I remembered liking this book as part of the series involving a queer awakening and a gay dad next door. There’s a 10 year age gap. But upon listening to the audiobook I realized it’s kind of boring. There’s not much angst and the couple decide to take the physical aspect of their relationship slow so there’s not much spice. It’s just kind of a nice story with some familiar characters but definitely not one of the best of the series.
