About this listen

When Alena and Orion join Kalugal and Jacki on a romantic vacation to the enchanting Lake Lugo in China, they anticipate a couple of visits to Kalugal’s archeological dig, some sightseeing, and a lot of lovemaking.

Their excursion takes an unexpected turn when Jacki’s vision sends them on a perilous hunt for the elusive Kra-ell.

As things progress from bad to worse, Alena beseeches the Fates to keep everyone in their group alive. She can’t fathom losing any of them, but most of all, Orion.

For more than 2,000 years, she walked the earth alone, but after mere days with him at her side, she can’t imagine life without him.

This is I.T.

This is one of the best series in this genre. I am addicted. I feel like a member of the clan. When you think it can’t get any better, it does.

Awesome series

I’ve been a fan of Ms Lucas since book one of this series ! How she keeps it going and still connected I’ll never know. I enjoyed this because it connected another piece of the puzzle with a new group of people mentioned several books ago. I just hate when they end!

Well done storyline, and the characters were great

Author went into each character so that you felt that you knew each one. I'm so glad that Alena found her mate, and that he loves her also.

Love this series. Great story lines with intrigue and humor.

Orion, Alena’s, Kalugal, Jacki, Arwel, Jin, Carol, Lokan,Phinas, Welgost and Shamash all are on the team to travel to China to try an find out more about what happened to the Kra-ell. Since they are there they decide to make a quick to Lugu Lake at an archeological site that Kalugal has team digging for artifacts. While there
Jacki has a vision while holding an artifact. It’s a mask of a scary looking face that had huge ears and big slanted holes for eyes. Jacki sees a young girl who is scared by the mask and where she ran off and insists that the team goes in search for her not knowing if she is there alive or in the past where she might have died. cavern. They find Aliya who is Kra-ell.
Going to be interesting to see where she is going.
There is an interesting twist to who is Vlods biological father (Vrog). As the fates continue to work there magic bringing new people to the clan and tangling into what is currently going on.

The series of events and how they fell together like a puzzle.

I love the way the author takes the reader on a trip to various places that historically blend the past with the present. Well done. Very engaging characters and plot.

Alena an Orion-- part 2

Dark Hunter's Prey is book 57 in the Children of the Gods series and is the second of the Dark Hunter's trilogy. It is the story of Alena and Orion.

Alena is has been blessed by the Fates and finally has her match. She and Orion go to China to find the Kra'ell. What they find is not expected, but not totally surprising either. Other minor couples storylines are progressing, Eleanor/Emmet and Ronja/Merlin, a third couple may appear soon as Vrog got paired in VR. 5 Stars.
