About this listen

Distorted Love, book 1:

I loved him from the age of 16. Hated him from the age of 18. He disappeared at the age of 19.

We started off as enemies, then fast became lovers. But our story isn’t a happily ever after. It was a story of a king and a peasant. Can you guess which I was? I knew we weren’t meant to be. You see, he fell in love with her first. He loved me last. I'm not someone’s second choice. Not even for the boy who stole my heart. I'm someone’s first. Now, I just have to remember that.

Sinister Love, book 2:

He was a drug I couldn’t kick. I’d overdosed on him before. It didn’t turn out well.

I was stupid enough to let him crack my heart, in hopes we would fall off the same cliff together. No matter how much my idiotic heart wanted to love him, my head knew better. He didn’t choose me. He chose her. That’s where the problem started. Maybe that’s how it should end.

Had To Use My Imagination

Okay, so these are supposed to be high school age characters...so I envisioned this happening around a workplace and the main characters were around early 30's. It was more believable that way. Yes. yes, this is fiction but there has to be an element of realism. Then I could listen without wincing.

The narration was great. Ava Erickson is one of the best female narrators and Aiden Snow one of the best male.

The story line was pretty exciting with lots of twists and turns. Kept you on your toes. Olivia was a liar and got what she deserved. The rest worked out. Good book.

the relationships

Overall don't like girls or women as sex slaves but, it happens. The treatment of women as second class citizens should never be condoned.

Dark Intentions Duet❣️

Book 1 Distorted Love & Book 2 Sinister Love💕
These fucken crazy ass books were a roller coaster of emotions, cliffhangers, angst, lust, revenge and LOVE.❤️ I mean it in a good way if you like all that kind of stuff. The narration was on spot very few books have grasped me from begging to end and I couldn’t stop listening. These books are well worth the price of one credit…ENJOY❣️

Terrible

I absolutely HATED listening to two underage high school students describe having sex. First off, inappropriate. Second, what 17 year old is THAT good at sex? Third, the story tells us he slept with an adult some years ago, so she's a pedophile? Unreal, unreasonable, underage. The narration is also horrid.

Just No

I’ve listened to other books by the author and I loved them. This, nope. The woman was a self hating doormat. She had zero self respect. I thought at some point she would grow some ovaries , but no. I would say she deserved better, but really she got exactly what she deserved for not standing up for herself, and ignoring his business, no way.
And him, what a ridiculous twat. He didn’t deserve anyone. I was hoping someone would kill him. I didn’t think I would say this, but Olivia was the only one who ended up with sense.
