Publisher's summary

Jennifer Foxray is a badass MMA fighter. When she finds herself kidnapped and brought into another dimension, her skills are an asset. Arrows whizzing past her head? No problem. She'll still kick major goblin backside. She can take care of herself and save her friends. She doesn't need a man to save her. Nope. Not even if he's hot enough to melt her resistance.

Hyz is on a quest, with his trusty horse Thunder. He needs to know if the rumors of impending war are true. His plans come to halt when he comes across the most gorgeous woman on the planet, fighting off a horde of goblins. Though she can clearly hold her own, Hyz steps in to save her. That's what heroes do. His saber toothed tiger wants her for a mate and Hyz is definitely attracted to her. But she can't be his. He must wait for the woman with the glowing rock.

It's a good thing Jenn doesn't do relationships, because her rock isn't glowing at the moment. Plus, she has two best friends to find and Hyz's world to save. And really who has time for tingly girl parts and feelings when there's butt to kick and a battle to destroy the evil creatures trying to take control of Crystal Kingdom?

Contains mature themes.

Very entertaining trilogy

I really enjoyed all three separate stories of Avery, Kia, and Jen. The narrator was amazing

She'll show him!

Jen experienced a traumatic event when she was a kid. Even though she is still skittish and super cautious, she is a bad@$$ who can bring you low with a single kick. So it's no wonder when she is taken through the portal that she makes short work of her assailants. Hyz did come in handy when she was brought low by the local fauna. Dang thorns. When she recovers, her only thought is to find her friends. They can't handle themselves as well as she can.

But she is drawn to her cute companion, even though she has never really been comfortable around males since the incident. But his "females don't fight" attitude is working her last nerve. When he gets himself into a jam, guess who rides to his rescue. That's right - Jen! She'll save him and all the Fae from the nefarious machinations of the goblin king. Finding her friends and reuniting with their grammies is only second to winning her true love's heart.

I have loved listening to every book in this series. The ladies might be young and scared in this strange new world, but they will not be cowed. Girl power is sweeping the mystical realm and the males better fall in line.

And the story continues

I liked the 1st two books and overall I did like this one too. Jen is my least favorite of the 3 queens. She just never really fits. On one hand she's super tough but then she's clumsy. She's soo in love but then she won't listen and throws him away.

could of been better

The one thing i can commend about this author is there is low to no violence or rape against women in her books. She does stick to very strict gender roles, which is unfortunate. There was a transphobic joke in this book, which was highly offensive. Its just to bad that people think stuff like that is funny. There's way to much padding in each chapter. The misunderstandings in this series makes the characters seem unintelligent. The series is a cool idea, but it's delivered in a very flat and boring way. I found myself skipping around, because it couldn't hold my attention. If you love all her other writings, this series may still fall short.
