About this listen

I thought nothing was worse than dying. Then I discovered there are things that hurt an awful lot more than chemo—like getting your heart trampled on by the insanely powerful superhuman prince who claims you’re his mate. Right after we consummated the mating, no less.

Well, he can have a nice life. The moment an opportunity presents itself, I’m out of here.

I just need to locate someone who’ll portal me back to Earth before he finds me.

A good conclusion to Elsie’s and Aruan’s story.
Aruan is a very intense character so it’s understandable why the prophecy scared people and therefore separating Elsie from him. Overall this new fantasy world was interesting and I would’ve liked to be more immersed in it but this series was short.

Both narrators performed their part well.

A good conclusion!

I absolutely adore the unique and captivating perspective that this story offers, encompassing everything that makes it so intriguing. I am a loyal fan of the narrators, so you have chosen the two best in the industry. This series makes you contemplate the future of AI in our world and the events that transpired centuries ago when the pyramids were constructed. Regardless, it is an exceptional series.

Wonderful series

Elise omg she annoyed me to no end. I get she didnt choose to be mated or the life she was given. Buy she was constantly doing things to put herself in danger and fighting the bond and blaming Aruan for his reaction to her when she was given a second chance at life. Anyway I figured who the traitor was and was glad they finally bonded properly. Nice ending.

Elise grr

Audiobook: Narrators - CJ Bloom and Sebastian York

The audiobook version of this story is phenomenal. The narrators were amazing! They didn’t just read the book, they brought it to life. Their voices added depth, emotion, and tension in all the right places, turning an already gripping story into a full blown cinematic like experience. This performance makes it more intense, more immersive, and honestly…unforgettable.

Talk about heroes who’d burn the world down! Auran is dangerously devoted in the best way, and I loved every second of it. This sequel picks up right where book one ended and dives headfirst into the emotional wreckage between Auran and Elsie. The heartbreak, fury, longing, and sheer power wrapped into their bond makes for an explosive, high-stakes conclusion. Elsie’s pain and need for escape feel raw and real, but of course, nothing is easy when your fated mate is a prince capable of leveling entire worlds to get you back. Their chemistry is electric, and when it sparks again…fireworks!

Beyond the romance, the world expands beautifully in this installment. New characters, dangerous secrets, and shifting allegiances hint at an even larger story waiting to unfold, and I truly hope we return to this universe. It’s rich with possibility and teeming with magic, danger, and emotion. If you’re a fan of fantasy romance with intense passion, morally gray heroes, and heroines who fight back, this duet is a must-read. I devoured it and am already desperate for more.

Dangerously devoted

Book 2 was better than book 1. I like seeing Elsie grow into a strong woman not limited by her health. Feisty, confident and learning quickly.

All the mishaps are going to send everyone on the planet to an early grave. Anyone harms or threatens his mate and he loses control over his powers.

Elsie truly comes into her own and I loved it. I also loved the growing relationship with Aruan. Cold and calculated meets passionate and not actually cold-hearted.
The latter half of the book flew by and I was ready for the mystery to be solved so there could be a HEA. I picked the wrong villain but it could only be a couple people. Not telling that secret.

I also enjoyed the epilogue.

The perfect conclusion to this incredible world Anna and Charmaine have built. It was captivating, full of twists and turns and so much excitement. Loved the back forth between Elsie and Auran but sometimes they were too stubborn for their own good. Their journey to love was beautiful. The narration was just as wonderful as the first book with CJ Bloom and Sebastian York. They bring the story to life. What a thrilling duet and conclusion for Elsie and Auran!

Thrilling Conclusion

Elsie & Aruan are back, in the thrilling conclusion, of their fated mate romance, on planet Zerra.

We pick up with Elsie trying to help fellow humans trapped on planet Zerra against the evil Phaelix, where she’s found more of her powers and their usefulness.

This story wraps up with finding family, her full back story and her finding a true love for her fated mate in Aruan and accepting her destiny 💕☄️

I was lucky enough to be given an early copy of the ebook from the author Anna Zaires via BookSprout and I am voluntarily sharing my review

A Fated Mate Romance on Planet Zerra

The storyline was different. There was a lot of ethics and morally gray areas. The villain was well hidden. The royals were adamant about keeping their people safe. They knew about earth but were not allowed to talk about it. It’s a quick two book read. I listened to this and the first book.

Voice acting was excellent

I thought the first book was creating red herrings to subvert predictability to make things a bit more exciting but I see now that I may have been taking these books an iota (which was already very low) more seriously than the writers intended lol.

I will say even though the book opens up with Auran still being the worst MMC I've followed in a while (sex gained through coercion is still rape) and I thought Elsie's run away attempt would be the catalyst to Auran's development and groveling (it wasn't and there is no groveling) he does start behaving like a normal alien romance MMC nearly 75% in. However, It happens out of nowhere so it makes me wonder why the authors made him so rapey and overly protective to a toxic degree like a dark romance MMC to begin with if we weren't going to experience his growth.

All in all, though this doesn't really feel like a true alien romance and the MCs along with their romance isn't handled the greatest imo, I can understand why others may enjoy! I feel if Auran wasn't so off putting and I took the mysteries at face value I would have appreciated this more as uncomplicated cliterature.

My fault. 2.5
