Too YA for me
The entirety of this short story was so that the main character could get kissed by her wannabe boyfriend who happens to be a god. Perhaps it was just me, but the word 'god' was said so often and the narrator emphasized it so much, that by the end of the book I was rolling my eyes every time I heard it. The short 80-minute listen had quite a lot of action but not much in terms of character development. (Perhaps you have to have read the first book for all of that?)

Who's your Mommy?
Dating a God felt much more focused than it's predecessor, Death by Chocolate. It is much more straight forward with the story.
Girl gets to date a god, he tries to convince her to meet her real mom and then a crazy confrontation with a killer god at a swimming party.
The story is still following the teen / young adult genre.
Again, Kate Tyler's performance was great.

Enjoyable Divine Comedy
I really enjoy this series at this point, which I received in exchange for an honest review. It's very light and amusing, and definitely still feels like a nice escape--good, light reads that work well for summer or any time you need to get lost in another world. I felt like the series is picking up speed in the second installment.

Great Next Installment!!
Oh my goodness! I am so loving this series! This is an action packed sweet listen! This is such a fun book to listen to. Once again Kate gets herself into so much adventure and the way she reacts is so entertaining! The narration is spot on, just like book one. Kate Tyler is an excellent narrator! Each voice is quite distinct and full of emotions at the appropriate times. I am so looking forward to the next book! If you haven't checked out Suz Korb's Divine Collection then you are seriously missing out!! I will continue to recommend this series to my friends!
