Publisher's summary

If asked, 30-year-old Seth Carter could not have recounted a single moment since he'd met her that he had not loved the stubborn, self-centered, and admittedly spoiled Jenna Ranger. Even with all her faults, Jenna thinks no woman in her right mind would willing choose to spend all her free time with a man who so obviously loves his cell phone and work more than he does her.

Good book, new narrator for the series

Too bad we lost the original narrator- everyone had weird new accents. Good to hear what happened with the “kids” though.

Great ideas, contained within

Wow!! The basic human impulses are translated in such a way that you might be able to hand this book to a couple and each person would take something away to help their relationship.
Although I still love the story line and the interaction between the characters. I have enjoyed each book in this series, and feel the audiobook just adds to the whole experience.

Terrible New Narrator

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and this story finishes out the relationships that I've been watching through the three previous books, but it's REALLY hard to listen to enjoyably with the different narrator reading it. There is hardly any difference in her inflections for character dialogue and narration which leaves the characters sounding all the same and lifeless. Anna Johnstonbrown was an EXCELLENT narrator for these books and I wouldn't even finish listening to this book if not for wanting to find out what happens between Seth and Jenna.

I did not enjoy narrator in this as much as in the first three books.

Can shorten a 7 hour drive.

She's a very strong-willed young professional woman and the he's trying to grow his business. They have chemistry and huge conflicts. Also get to catch up with characters from previous books in the series.
The narrator's voice easy on the ears and almost let the story tell itself.
I've previously read this book, but the audio version feels like it's almost a new story. Hearing the story has a totally different flow than reading it does. And I love that it can seemingly shorten the 7 hour drive between CA & AZ!

Funny

I loved the story, my problem was with the performance /editing. Words and phrases repeated twice. I'm guessing this is whete the reader took breaks, but it takes away from the overall rating pof the book.

The is story great, narrator sounds too robotic.

it's a good book, but I wish they would find a more natural sounding narrator. This one is just too robotic.

Story good, narrator irritating

The story line was enjoyable but the new narrator for this series is very irritating and spoilt the book.

True narration

As with the previous stories in this series the narration has been true to the book and this one features a new narrator.

My only complaint is this narrator tries to give the characters different voices-and fails. The voices change from sentence to sentence and mostly sound bored-especially the male voices.

I feel she would have been better just reading the story rather than taking this route.
