Turns out, taking a knife through the heart isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Neither is death. Instead of pearly gates, Riley wakes up alive and ensnared in a witch’s curse with 12 paranormals known as the Outcasts—including the inhumanly beautiful, totally-hates-her-guts vampire Jasper. A psychological thriller
Dawn That Brings Death is the second in the Mynart mystery series by Addison Michael. It begins almost a year after the first book ends, and continues with Paige’s story. Things are going very well for her and her baby, new marriage, great job, but she can’t outrun her past. This book ends of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next book. The narration by Mira Williams is great. Her performance brings the characters and story to life. I received this audiobook free for my honest review.

Awesome Mystery
I was so consumed with listening to all 3 books at once I did not realize I forgot to leave reviews for books 2 & 3 of this series. In this book Paige flees to Canada where she carves out a life for herself and her child. She knows people are looking for her but she tries to stay under the radar. The tragedy she left behind continues to haunt her as the mystery unravels. There are so many unexpected twists. Mira Williams delivers a great performance.

Dark, haunting and perfect!
Dark, haunting and horrifying with a definite chilling noir feel. “Dawn That Brings Death” is a creepy good psychological thriller! The writing is excellent, the character development divine, the narration beautiful, and the twist filled plot that manages to be interesting and intense, yet easy to follow combine to create a truly perfect experience! I admit I was stunned at the reveal with this one. I had a few suspects in mind but THIS reveal took me completely by surprise! No spoilers, when you listen, you’ll see exactly what I mean, and speaking of listening, the top quality narration will make that a pleasure indeed! Five stars!

You need this series!
Paige escaped from her abusive relationship and is now living in Canada with her young daughter…she is finally moving on…or so she thinks. A killer is out for revenge!
Lots of twists in this story. The author certainly knows how to wring out this reader’s emotions! There were times that I really wanted to shake Paige! Lol. Enjoyable story with great narration. Looking forward to book 3.

ASMR
Narrator is terribly boring. Story has some ridiculous details such as the white hot metal door to the occupied shed that is burning from a candle.
