About this listen

Three decades after The Baby-Sitters Club first rocked our world—like scoring your own phone line, in your room!—the beloved franchise is back to binge (and share) like never before!

In the most exciting news since we first learned of Kristy Thomas’s great idea to start the Baby-Sitters Club, the book series is now available only from Audible as an audio experience with special guest narrator Elle Fanning, the multi-talented actress and fan of BSC.

With endearing characters and enduring storylines filled with lessons of self-discovery, the beauty of true friendship, and the power of youth-led entrepreneurship itself, the BSC has never felt more now. So, whether you’re joining the club for the first time, or the first time in quite a while, spend time with stories that transcend the ages. Gather up the kids—not to mention those nieces, nephews, and neighbors alike—for all the twists, turns, hilarity, and burns of tween life in Stoneybrook, Connecticut!

As the newest member of the BSC, Dawn is eager to prove herself. So when a big job comes along, she jumps at the chance to show everyone what she's made of. The Barretts are even more challenging than Dawn expected. The house is a mess, Mrs. Barrett is unreliable, and the kids are out of control. Dawn knows she's a great baby-sitter, but this is impossible! She only knows one thing for sure—a member of the BSC never gives up!

The best friends you'll ever have—with classic BSC covers and a letter from Ann M. Martin!

That you can immediately hit play and re-enter a beloved new world, or love story, or era from history is a gift to the devoted listener. But how to pick just 100 of these unique and immersive listening journeys? We defined a series as having a minimum of three books, and—after some debate—we decided the titles had to be anchored in fiction. Another great entry

A lot of Dawn's lines I found hilarious, yelling at the Weatherman, something a lot of us can relate to, and so on. For her last narrating the series, the narrator does another fine job. Often it jumps from POV to POV, though not often. Shame only the first 131 books in this series are on here for now.

Dawn and the Impossible Three

I really liked this book and really enjoy with Elle Fanning as the narrator, I have listened to it twice so far and think I will be listening to this story for many more times to come! I like this story better on audio than reading the version in print but the print version is also very good

Funny but not the best one yet

Super funny But not the best book yet. The best book would probably have to be my favorite Jesse secret language, because my brother is hard of hearing. And we learned how to do sign language a couple years ago.

Dawn is the newest member of the BSC

I am on a quest to revisit my childhood reading favorites. When I was a child, I loved the Babysitters Club books. I devoured them. I read those, along with the Super Specials, Mysteries, Little Sister books, etc. In fact, I still have all of them to this day in paperback. They were such a big part of my love of reading, I could not part with them. So now that they have come out on Audiobook, I had to check them out. As it turns out, I am not too old to enjoy The Baby-sitters Club. It kind of feels like going home again.

Dawn and the Impossible 3 is book 5 in the Baby-sitters Club series. In this book, Dawn is the newest member of The Baby-sitters Club. Dawn immediately gets a regular client but it may prove to be too much for her. The client is mother who is in the process of a divorce and has 3 kids. The mom is stressed out, scatterbrained, and disorganized. Her house is an absolute mess every time Dawn goes to babysit. The mom forgets to mention important information as she is running out the door and she leaves incorrect phone numbers to reach her. In addition to all of that, the mom has drama with the kids' father that puts the BSC in bad situations. All in all, it is a recipe for disaster. Can Dawn handle it? Read it and find out.

This book is a quick listen and is only 3 hours and 6 minutes. The narrator does a good job.

I still love the nostalgia and am ready to listen to book 6!
