You lose the ability to suspend all disbelief when the story infers that Israel would do anything to help the USA. Remember the USS Liberty, folks!

Great story and wonderful performance, but. . .

My new favorite author, for thrillers and action stories.
A realism in some ways more grainey than the more recent Clancy offerings - reminds me of the more early novels like “No Remorse” in intracacy and detail.

Thought this to be one the best yet. With each book getting better in both the character evolution and story line

Solid story

Taylor does it again with yet another Pike Logan masterpiece. I was a little confused following the narration when the story lines started to converge, but that may have just been me. Great story... Highly recommended.

Another Pike Logan Homerun

I always seem to buy the Pike Logan books on sale hoping for better. I'm not sure if it's the narration or the writing but from time to time it seems like a comic book. Yeah, Pike Logan is a macho guy. I get it already. Once the author establishes how cool and macho the team is the story gets better.

After struggling through the first 4-5 hours, the story seemed to gain traction. Maybe I finally got used to the alternating narrators which made it hard to track who was who. I've had audiobooks with male and female alternating, but younger and older male voices doing male and female same characters every other chapter was not really useful.

Alternating narrators? Make up your mind.

Any additional comments?

The story is good. But there is too much moral discussion popping up about every third chapter. It gets tedious.

typical Pike novel
