Excellent!

Wow! This book was recommended to me by a friend and I initially thought oh here goes another boring horror anthology written by a King wannabe. How I found myself completely wrong and must apologize to the author Minter. Who shows great talent and skill in crafting a decent horror story. My favorite one was “Midnight Rain” when Eli and his men who are bounty hunters ride into this unknown town called Solemn Creek. I not only found this story quite intriguing but skillfully narrated as well by Donavan which made it almost like watching a movie because you could actually visualize what was taken place as he vividly narrated the story from beginning to end. Another one of my favorites was “The Lottery” which I interpreted in the story as a moral lesson in the sins of greed and what it may cost you in the end, without giving to much of this terrific story away. Overall, all the stories was very good and I feel this book earned every star I gave it! Damn good read.

Chiller/Thriller

If you are in the mood for something scary and different. I would recommend this one for you. I enjoyed all the stories immensely, but my favorite one was? Sorry, I luv them all. This is just my opinion, but after reading this book. Honestly, I think that Minter has put together something very, very, special here. The stories was engaging and the narrator did a blow your breath away job with breathing life into this horror masterpiece. Good read that I highly recommend.

Things that go bump in the night.

Good read! Warning do not read alone at home with the lights out. Wait… I think I just heard a strange noise coming from my basement.

Scary and disturbing!

This series as a whole had me on the edge of my seat from pretty much the beginning to the end. It’ll make you wonder if everybody you come in contact with is really who or what they seem to be and count your exits everywhere you go, just in case. These monsters or demons don’t fear the dark or the light, so no time of the day or night is safe. Great scary book!
