About this listen

Gilson Creek, Maine. A safe rural community. Summer is here. School is out, and the warm waters of Emerson Lake await. But one man's terrible secret will unleash a nightmare straight off the silver screen.

Under the full moon, a night of terror and death reawakens horrors long asleep. Sheriff Joe Fischer - a man fighting for the safety of his daughter - his sanity, and his community must confront the sins of his past. Can Sheriff Fischer set Gilson Creek free from the beast hiding in its shadows, or will a small town die under a curse it can't even comprehend?

One night can - and will - change everything.

"With slashing claws and blood-soaked fur, Blood and Rain will have you howling in terror and delight. A welcome addition to the werewolf mythos and proof that we're in the presence of a rising star in the genre. Highly recommended!" (Ronald Malfi, author of The Fall of Never and December Park)

There are two things in this world I'm terrified of. Sharks and werewolves. And the werewolves in this story took my terror on a whole new level. Out of all the werewolf stories I've read, watched on the big screen, this one has to be the best. What an outstanding story! 👏 Not only written with perfection, but narrated with brilliance. I highly recommend this to all lovers of horror, werewolf lovers, suspense, mystery, and damn good writing. BRAVO!

Terrifying & Addictive! ❤

The book wasn't bad but why did he have to turn everything in to sex. I wanted to hear s horror book not a horror book / sex book.

Ok book

Good story line and concept but immature writing style. I found my mind wandering and needing to go back to see what I missed. It’s certainly not the worst book I’ve ever read,

Mediocre

The ending was rushed and very anticlimactic. The rest of the book was pretty good.

Disappointed By The Ending

most of the story was great although there was some times where I got kind of confused about the role of many of the characters it got kind of interesting but confusing as to who was who in this story but overall it was a great and spine tingling saga

excellent storyline

great voices, and creature story, I could imagine the characters so clearly like I was there

Edge of your seat story

Great werewolf book outside of the fact that it seems like they constantly reference things I’m assuming happened in a previous book? When I run a search there is no such book, which makes me wonder if it could have used a healthy prologue in the beginning.

Was there a book before this one? It keeps alluding to one

Don't get me wrong, the werewolf was suitably evil. You cheer when he gets his just desserts. But one of the teen girls was written in such a selfish manner that I was a bit annoyed she kept skating through danger. The death count due to her poor decision making was nearly as high as the werewolves. Good book overall.

Kinda wanted the bad guy to win a bit

I thoroughly enjoyed this and immediately looked for a sequel and was disappointed there wasn’t one yet! Narrator was great too!

Enjoyable read

Not the best book but worth a read.. Phil Thron is definitely one of the best narrator's. Slow burn is probably the best books he's narrated, that I know of.

Good book
