About this listen

The finale of the second series of Deadlocked.

The High Rollers are ready to take revenge against the forces aligned against them. A hard and long winter has forced them into hiding, but has also given them a respite from something else…something far worse than anything they’ve battled so far.

The Noah Initiative has begun, and the land will soon be devastated by a new virus. The people lined up against the High Rollers are fighting among themselves as well, and everyone is at risk. This isn’t just a fight for survival anymore, it’s a fight to save the entire human race.

The Ride comes to an End and what an end it is!!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely!!!! This is a great conclusion to an amazing edge of your seat series..

What did you like best about this story?

A.R. Wise has a talent for connecting dots throughout the books and connect they do. It makes for a complete story, that makes you want more. Even at the ending of this book you don't want it to be over....

Which scene was your favorite?

I wont ruin that. But they have a bunch of memorable scenes they make you laugh, they make you cry, they make you want to punch people in the face.... All pretty much at the same time.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were a bunch!!! Since this is pretty much the end of the series a lot of things came to their conclusions, even some of our most beloved characters...

Any additional comments?

Well this is book 8 of the series so most likely if your reading this your already a fan of the series. I would say If you love it support it and the author. Tell your friends family maybe even some strangers on the street!!!! LOL. I am big fan of supporting authors that have great apocalyptic fiction stories (because I am a huge ZA junkie) and A.R. Wise and the Deadlocked series is in my top 3 (PS I HAVE READ/LISTENED TO HUNDREDS so that's saying something). Thank you Mr. Wise for sharing your story, characters, and the overall world you created for this series, it was a wild ride and Im glad I jumped aboard!!!!!!

GREAT

I couldn't ask for a greater ending.
It kept me on the edge of my metaphorical seat the whole way.
I can't stop recommending the series to fiends and family.

Awesome Ending to an Epic Story

Would you consider the audio edition of Deadlocked 8: Sons of Reagan to be better than the print version?

It is impossible to quantify whether the print version is better then the audio edition. You cannot compare Apples and Oranges.

What did you like best about this story?

The epilogue was a nice touch, after growing with the characters through eight books.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

It was a all star cast of narrators.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book does both, I walked away with a smile on my face.

Any additional comments?

This Series is one that I don't have a hard time starting over and doing it again.

if you like the series, don't read this book

I love the Deadlocked series. I have read & listened to all of them multiple times... except this one. There is NO WAY Billy would use the word 'labyrinthian'. This book is filled with a bunch of words like that that the characters have never used in any of the previous books. It almost feels like it wasn't written by the same author that wrote the other books in the series. There are a lot less zombies, and a lot more scheming and random weird unnecessary plots in this book. Just save your time, read the other books in the series but skip this. Read A.R. Wise's other novel series'. Phenomenal author. This book just really sucked.
