About this listen

Searching for a new home....

The Galahad, a faster-than-light spacecraft, carries 50 scientists and engineers on a mission to prepare Kepler 452b, Earth's nearest habitable neighbor at 1400 light years away. With Earth no longer habitable and the Mars colony slowly failing, they are humanity's best hope.

After 10 years in a failed cryogenic bed - body asleep, mind awake - William Chanokh's torture comes to an end as the fog clears, the hatch opens, and his friend and fellow hacker, Tom, greets him...by stabbing a screwdriver into his heart. This is the first time William dies.

It is not the last.

When he wakes from death, William discovers that all but one crew member - Capria Dixon - is either dead at Tom's hands, or has escaped to the surface of Kepler 452b. This dire situation is made worse when Tom attacks again - and is killed. Driven mad by a rare reaction to extended cryo-sleep, Tom hacked the Galahad's navigation system and locked the ship on a faster-than-light journey through the universe, destination: nowhere. Ever.

Mysteriously immortal, William is taken on a journey with no end, where he encounters solitary desperation, strange and violent lifeforms, a forbidden love, and the nature of reality itself.

...he discovers the infinite.

Jeremy Robinson, the master of fast-paced and highly original stories seamlessly blending elements of horror, science fiction, and thrillers, tackles his most ambitious subject matter to date: reality itself. An amalgam of the works of J.J. Abrams and Ridley Scott, Infinite is a bold science fiction novel exploring the vastness of space and a man's desire to exist, find love, and alter the course of his life.

Mind Blown!!

Any additional comments?

Brutally honest good or bad. Fantastic! Story is one of the most mind bending I've ever come across! The author brought the premise in totally feasible to me. (I hate when authors don't even give me a chance to believe them) As plot thickened up I was easily along for the ride! Great Job Jeremy. You never gave me a chance to hit pause!

Loved it! Great story & Bray rocked the narration!

I seek audio books narrated by R. C. Bray. While doing so I discover wonderful stories crafted by terrific authors. Bray brings them to life. Each one appearing as a movie in my imagination. Each character distinct. Each chapter vivid.

the title says it all

this is the book that never ends. yes, it goes on and on my friends. some people started reading it not knowing what it was, and they'll continue reading it forever just because this is the book that never ends. it just goes on and on my friends. some people started reading it not knowing what it was, and they'll continue reading it forever just because this is the book that enver ends. it just goes on and on my friends....

It’s like Interstellar and Inception had a baby and that baby was this book!!!

Such a great book! I started getting a sense of how it was going to end, but there were so many twists and turns that I second guessed myself. The ambiguousness of the ending is right up there is the work of Christopher Nolan, and I would love to see him turn this into a full length series... just the visuals alone are great!!! It’s

This may ruin my enjoyment of future stories

This story is so clever that I’m afraid it might make any future audio book boring in comparison. It’s everything you want in a perfect sci-fi story. I’ve listened to it twice. I wish there was more!

Not at all what I expected. But in a good way.

I can't really do much to review this without some serious spoilers.

Suffice it to say that I really enjoyed this fairly original story. There was a good twist at the end (although fairly easy to spot early on if you're paying attention), good pacing, decent dialog and the tenor of the story morphed nicely throughout the novel.

Bray did a fantastic narration as always.

Endless

There is a difference between Science Fiction and Fantasy. I enjoy both. Science fiction can be quite speculative but it still needs to have some basis in science. It has to be plausible. Fantasy can just make things up and so long as there's some consistency the reader can choose to accept a different reality. This book pretended to be Science Fiction but it felt silly. It was too bad because the writer had some interesting ideas. Better luck next time.

ehhh

Well read, but the story was predictable and disappointing for me. Had a lot of potential, but came up short.

Didn't catch me.

Too much like an early 2000 Dennis Quaid movie I saw a while back. I ended up listening to the first few chapters and before long I wasn't even listening anymore as I did other things.
