About this listen
Stepping into the world of forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan, star of Kathy Reichs' electrifyingly authentic best sellers.
When innocent blood is spilled, she deciphers the shattering truth it holds.
Nine-year-old Emily Anne Toussaint is fatally shot on a Montreal street. A North Carolina teenager disappears from her home, and parts of her skeleton are found hundreds of miles away. The shocking deaths propel Tempe Brennan from north to south, and deep into a shattering investigation inside the bizarre culture of outlaw motorcycle gangs - where one misstep could bring disaster for herself or someone she loves.

Story
It's June in Montreal, and Dr. Temperance Brennan, who has left a shaky marriage back home in North Carolina to take on the challenging assignment of Director of Forensic Anthropology for the province of Quebec, looks forward to a relaxing weekend in beautiful Quebec City. First, though, she must stop at a newly uncovered burial site in the heart of the city. The remains are probably old and only of archeological interest, but Tempe must make sure they're not a case for the police. One look at the decomposed and decapitated corpse, stored neatly in plastic bags, tells her she'll spend the weekend in the crime lab.

Love

I hate when the reader in a series is changed this reader has been the best of this series so far.
the story is good I like that Kit plays a major role, but it is a bit more predictable than the first 2.
Good story, best reader of the series so far.

What did you love best about Deadly Decisions?
I am a fan of all Kathy Reichs Temperance Brennan books. I especially appreciate audiobooks because I can listen in the car - and I am in the car A LOT.Would you be willing to try another one of Lorelei King’s performances?
NO - this is an AWFUL listen. I actually considered stopping, because of how poorly it was read. Making your voice louder or softer is not all that is needed to hear the tone, inflection, pacing and pattern of a good book. Spoken pieces should not sound exactly the same as description pieces. This was absolutely an awful listen.Any additional comments?
I highly recommend any of Reich's books read by Linda Emmond or Katherine Borowitz.Decent story, poorly performed

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
YES. IF THE FRIEND WAS A FAN OF KATHY REICHS OR PATRICIA CORNWELL. BOTH AUTHORS GO INTO LABORIOUS DETAIL ABOUT THEIR WORK IN THE LAB.What other book might you compare Deadly Decisions to and why?
THE BOOK IS VERY MUCH LIKE KATHY REICHS OTHER STORIES OR ANY OF PATRICIA CORNWELL'S BOOKS.Which character – as performed by Lorelei King – was your favorite?
"TEMPE" THE MAIN CHARACTER. SHE'S DEDICATED AND DETERMINEDWas this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No. I listened in small doses.ANOTHER SOLID KATHY REICHS STORY
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
Did not like the narrator, sounded like AI.
love the characters
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
Where does Deadly Decisions rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Not at the top of my list--and I LOVE this seriesWhat did you like best about this story?
Interesting how the saga of the characters continues.Did Lorelei King do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
I found her attempts at accents to be distracting. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Maybe in 2 sittings!Any additional comments?
Lots of detail and explanation given to Dr Brennan that I would expect she would already know. May have been done for reader's benefit, but most were read by narrator very quick and flat and lowered quality of the "read".A little disappointing
