About this listen

All is not well in the small town of Ashley Oaks, Texas, as the human inhabitants struggle to survive behind the walls of their makeshift fort. A zombie herd is on the outskirts of the town, and the survivors huddle behind the cement walls encompassing their encampment, in hopes that the undead will pass them by.

While Katie is on sentry duty, a child cries out in the night, spurring Jenni into action. Soon, both women find themselves fighting against the ravenous undead in a seemingly futile attempt to save other survivors.

Deadly Night is an original As the World Dies story that takes place between The First Days and Fighting to Survive.

A Must Have

I'm a huge fan of the first days books and was excited to learn that Jenni and Katie would be back killin zombies. My only complaint was that it was too short.

Deadly Night

I read this book years ago as soon as it was released. Loved it then! I just finished the audio book version, and now love it even more! Well written short story in this zombie apocalypse series. Narrator did a wonderful job.

Action & Drama Rolled into one

I really enjoyed this short story that takes place in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. There's a perfect balance between action and drama. The narrator does a fantastic job!

Deadly Night

I absolutely love this series and the untold tales short stories help peice together the main series. Rhiannon Frater is amazing and Mrs. Denton does a great job narrating.

wish it was longer

Wish it was longer so that I could enjoy a lot more action....Tooo short to get a good feel of what was going on. Also not sure if it was me but the narrator sound a little more robotic when she was not in character. I truly enjoyed the other books of untold stories, but this one was to short for me to get into not my favorite.
