About this listen

Do the words that we say in front of our children build them up or tear them down? This short story explores the consequences of hatred and bigotry when it applies, unknowingly, to someone that you love. There is a time in every relationship when a parent must let go of the dreams they have for their child, so the child can chase what they dream of becoming.

This book wrecked me. I am not good at reviews. Audible actually lets you just leave stars without having to comment. I was very tempted to just give it 5 stars and move on too my next book. I know people don’t like to use Audible credits on short stories, but you can buy it as long as you don’t go through the app on your phone. It was very powerful and I think important for people to read or here. Having had this touch my life personally might’ve made it a little harder for me to listen for me. Very well done though.

I just can’t

I m having a hard time writing this. there are so many young people have this hurt deep down, and to them, shutting it down is all they see. this short story was so thought-provoking and hope that this shows that the pain is hard, but finding a way through it with communication oral or even written is the most important way to ease that pain.

Amazing

This is an important work with a message to everyone with children in their life. We must be very careful about what we say. This story was told in a perfect way and was well written and narrated. I loved it.
