About this listen

All I wanted is for my little sister, Della, to be safe and happy. And maybe, in brief stolen moments, I dreamed of a happy ending for myself with a brown-eyed man.

That hope has turned into sharp, bright fear. There's only survival now.

I'm the daughter of a controlling and cruel billionaire, so I understand about power. But I find myself fighting anyway. I find myself testing them.

I have claws and I bite. I’m not going down without a fight.

It's like I have a death wish.

Triple threat was a triple treat to listen to!

The book was very enjoyable and well balanced. Some books with many characters get confusing, however this book read very well. I have read more than a half dozen K Webster books and have loved them all!

Dark and twisted

This duet is definitely dark and twisted but that’s what makes it so good! I really wasn’t sure how I felt about the triplets after book one, but I really got on board with their brand of crazy in this one!

Loved the ending

Book 2 wraps this series up nicely, I still wish I would have know to read the previous series that would have gave me a clearer vision of the Terror Triplets. These 3 men were actually just what Landry needed. Each one of them giving her something different and the way the took to Della too. I loved each one of them but I think I liked Scout the best. Although they were all willing to do whatever it took to keep her Scout made the ultimate sacrifice for her. The narration was impeccable.

Messed up story but good!

Laundry's dad is a piece of crap! He was awful in book 1 but the things that come out in book 2 are disgusting! These triplets end up being everything her and her sister need. Narrators were fantastic as always!!!

Good Series

Two part series with dual narration, hot triplet brothers, and some very satisfying sex scenes. If your a fan of dark mafia style romances then this is the story for you.
I liked that, unlike many other reverse harem type books, sharing the girl wasn’t a given. The brothers expressed jealousy and stubbornness over the idea. Each brother had his own thoughts on sharing the girl. While it didn’t lead to any huge plot points or conflict, it def added depth to the characters. It’s a minor point in the plot but I thought it made it much more believable.
I bought both books back to back and finished the series in 2 days. So ya I would recommend lol. Absolutely worth the credits.

Obsessed!

I immediately became hooked on the overall plot/premise of this duet but it was even better than expected especially with Teddy Hamilton narrating! This duet will linger in my top 5 for a long time! Amazing duet and audible performance!

Death Wish

Death Wish is the second and final book in the Deception Duet series. This book should be read after Triple Threat as this book starts off right where that book ends. This book is told from multiple points of view from Landry, Sully, Sparrow, and Scout.

Landry will do whatever she can to protect her deaf sister from their father. So when she shows up at Ford's house asking for help, she realizes there is more to Ford than she realized. She becomes trapped in Sully, Sparrow, and Scout's surroundings, but doesn't mind because she and her sister are away from their father.

Landry has different feelings for the guys as she gets to know them. She sees how they treat her sister as well. When Landry meets those from the boys' pasts they feel that she is being tormented, but she has to prove she wants to be with them.

What happens when her father finds her? Will she survive his wrath? Will she get her happy ever after? Will she be able to keep her sister safe?

I loved this book and getting to know the terror triplets. I would love to get to see more into this world!

Love the boys!

The voice of Teddy Hamilton brings these brothers to life! It is a good story, could have more character development for the other characters to round it out, but very fun.

Very dark & taboo but Amazing read.

“Sully is the real Ford, she says with her hands, as though that’s obvious. Sparrow is the dummy. Scout is the maid.”

“What we’re doing is far beyond dating. We’re consuming her, owning her, making her ours. We’re a drug that’s entered her bloodstream and she’s too high from the way we feel to ever want to willingly withdraw from us. Landry isn’t going anywhere. Not now. Not ever.”

“All our lives, we’ve fought over the same girls, but we’ve never really put any real effort into sharing them. Until now.”

This is the second book of the Deception Duet.

OMG WOW!!!! This is a very taboo read let me say that first but this is an amazing read also. The way K. Webster wrote this book was mind blowing. I could not put this book down. The plot was good. The SPICE OMG the Spice was hot! The Mannford triplets! 🫠🫠🫠🔥 Overall it was a good read and I would read again.

“Ours. Ours. Ours.”
