About this listen

She was my first love.
She was my first hate.
The very sun in my world tried to burn me alive with her lies and cruelty.
Until I dimmed her light for good....
Or so I thought.

Now she’s back.
Cracked. Broken. Lost.
And for the first time in a long time, I feel free.
Free from our past. Free from my present that suffocates me. Free to destroy her future.

Her misery is my music.
Thrilling. Invigorating. Intoxicating.

For so long, all I’ve done is hate her.
So why do I love her?

I didn’t see that coming, amazing!!

I loved this book! The day she cried was another win for K. Webster! It made me laugh, cry, and scream out in frustration. I was completely shocked with the ending of the book I honestly didn’t see that doming. I’m a huge fan on Erin Mallon as a narrator, she has an amazingly expressive voice. The only reason I took one star away for the performance was because of Noah Levine, he has a very strong male voice and it didn’t really fit with a younger male. By the ending I was more comfortable with the male voice but it took me a bit to get used to it.

I’m a huge fan of k webster! She has a way of writing that seems effortless, no matter where u end up in her stories u always understand how u got there. I stumbled upon k Webster’s books on accident and became an instant fan. Her books cover so many topics, she never seems to shy away from a topic. Although all of her books may not be for everyone, I’m convinced that everyone cld find at least one of her books that calls to them. It’s clear that she researches the topics that she’s writing about and even though her books are romance novels they’re also great conversation starters.

Moving book

Really amazing book. It is what I was expecting and so much more. Really makes you think in regards to online bullying. A story that will definitely stick with you. Also has a nice love story amongst all the heavy issues. Highly recommend but not for a light read, deals with a lot of heavy issues in an excellent way. And love the narration.

Just Wow!

I still have to digest this one. It is tragic and heartbreaking. Yet at the same time I loved the messed up relationship between Courtney and Rome. These two always had feelings for each other, but something happens and now Rome only wants to hate her. What happens between then at first isn't sweet or kind. Rome is ruthless, but his desire for her overshadows how much he should despise her. Erin Mallon really brought on all the emotions. Her voice is always so lovely to listen to. Noah Levine was better in this one as Rome. He is voice had the right pitch to convey his anger and desire towards Courtney.

Emotional Damage

The Day she Cried is a Dark Romance that will pull on your heartstrings, it’s about 2 lost, broken, lonely people dealing with Lots of mistakes, secrets, loss, revenge, forgiveness, after a tragedy.

Make sure to check Trigger warnings there is a lot of sensitive topics. This book definitely put me thru the ringer of Emotional Damage, and then put me back together after.

And it wouldn’t be a K. Webster book without the spice🥵

I devoured this audiobook, it’s narrated by Erin Mallon and Noah Michael Levine.

They did a fantastic job at bringing these characters to life, you could feel all the emotions, angst, and the tension, they had amazing chemistry.

It’s definitely one of my favorite audiobooks I’ve listened to this year.

Whoaaa!!

Where do you even start with a book like this.

I guess you start with this book has Triggers so please read the warning.

K Webster took a personal experience and wrote an amazing story from it. (BTW We love you K Webster!!!)

A love story built from hatred and forgiveness. Major freaking twist that I did not see coming!!

Narrators were great with expressing the emotions of the characters (listened to on Audible Escape).

True to her style, K. Webster gives us another mindf*ck of a book but what made this one stand out for me is the semi-normal HEA. When I started I thought this book would be like all the others I've read by this author (btw that's a good thing) but by part 3 I realized how different this book was. I love how we got the entire story and when It ended I was satisfied completely. It's no surprise that K. Webster did it again, she always give me exactly what I need when I finish her books. If I listen to mostly HEA type of book I need these wtf books to help keep me from getting in a book funk and she always does exactly that.

The narration was 50/50 for me! Erin Mallon is my narrator crush! She can narrate anything and I would swoon! Noah Michael Levine on the other hand didn't really work for me in this book. He doesn't have the voice of a guy in his 20's so listening to him narrate Rome made his seem way to old. He did the angry Rome great though!
