Publisher's summary

The 10th Joe Ledger audiobook in Jonathan Maberry's New York Times best-selling series.

Terrorists-for-hire have created a weapon that can induce earthquakes and cause dormant volcanoes to erupt. One terrifying side effect of the weapon is that prior to the devastation, the vibrations drive ordinary people to suicide and violence. A wave of madness begins sweeping the country beginning with a mass shooting in Congress.

Joe Ledger and his team go on a wild hunt to stop the terrorists and uncover the global superpower secretly funding them. At every step, the stakes increase as it becomes clear the endgame of this campaign of terror is igniting the Yellowstone caldera, the supervolcano that could destroy America.

That you can immediately hit play and re-enter a beloved new world, or love story, or era from history is a gift to the devoted listener. But how to pick just 100 of these unique and immersive listening journeys? We defined a series as having a minimum of three books, and—after some debate—we decided the titles had to be anchored in fiction. From YA to horror to historical fiction, from fresh voices to seminal tales, hours of discovery await.

almost ruined

LOVE Jonathan Mayberry
love love love the Joe Ledger series
book almost ruined by the authors venomous attack on the current president. you didn't vote for him fine.... your personal politics have no business in a fictional novel. I look forward to each new release, hopefully this is the end of that nonsense

Gin and Tonic!

I love Jonathan Mayberry and Ray Porter, REALLY! Neither can do wrong, together they are Gin and Tonic! I’m a super fan of the Joe Ledger series, I’ve re-listened to the series at least 3 times and I always “hear” something new that I missed the other times! I’m giving this book 5 stars across the board because of my love for the 2 of them but having said that the story is more 4.5. I felt some over writing happening that caused a bit of a drag in the storyline and given all that is possible in this Ledger world a particular character could have had a “miracle”. However this book is still on par with any of the other in the series and I’m sure I’ll listen to it another 2 times sometime in the future! Ledger fans spend the credit!!!

Holy S***

Killer story full of life and death. Plenty for the Ex-military and then normal person. Cannot wait for the next book. HOPE there is a next book. I wait for when Mr. Mayberry ties his other story lines more completely. Simply put, he is a great writer.

I enjoyed most of it

Ray Porter, as usual rocked the narration. Looking forward to seeing what the newest novel brings to the characters. I didn't like the veiled BS political crap though. Come on man, get over the "Russian bullshit". It was a false narrative that you jumped on and put into your novel. The same with portraying anyone who believes in ALL constitutional protections as being ignorant.

IGNORE reviews about politics - Great Ledger Story

There is about as much politics as in any other DMS/Ledger story, but evidently it hits too close to home for some overly sensitive people this time! This stands well with all other Ledger books. I had a great time.
