Just right

The book has enough weirdness to be entertaining. Very light. Good setup for the next in the series.

Iliked it, and I am not a 12 year old girl!

There is a lot of character development in this so at times there can be a slow burn with little action, but since this is obviously the first in a series that's to be expected and the story never drug on or got boring, just took time to explian a few things. The author crafted a very real and lived in Savannah with interesting characters and added some mystical elements to make it this side of strange.

I think the idea of a paranormal justice system is a very novel one (pardon the pun). I found the story engaging and entertaining even if it did have a Perry Mason-esque ending (which is not a bad thing!). This was a great introduction to a series I feel holds much promise.

Rather Imature...

this could be a thinly disguised Nancy Drew mystery.... am sure it would appeal to 12 year olds

Slow Motion

Very disappointed with this book! Very slow moving, had great potential but just never made it over the hurdle. Took forever for the story to develop
