About this listen

Shonen's past in the infernal realms tortures him to this very day. The haunting memories have driven him to train in ninjutsu his entire life, seeking a way to defeat his cursed rival: the Shogun's heir. Now, an old enemy from his past appears and offers him a chance to finally settle the score with the heir once and for fall...in the ultimate duel.

Kai's present is bleak: He's scrawny, pimply, has no athletic ability, no money, and he sucks at school, at gaming, and especially with girls. However, he's about to find out that his past is not what he's been told, and he doesn't realize just who he is...or what he is.

Immortal Ninja Academy is a new series inspired by anime such as Naruto, Demon Slayer, and Ninja Scroll, as well as academy series such as Harry Potter and My Hero Academia. For mature audiences only.

Includes tactical, yet visceral fight scenes; explicit love scenes, with a good dose of romance; and cultivation of internal powers, similar to wuxia and gamelit.

This story has all the cool anime tropes you could want. Epic battles, unlocking powers, training montages, steamy waifus. It’s got it all!

Anime in a book!

took me like three chapters to get into it. With all the jumping between Koga and Kai it was a tad bit hard to follow. the fighting and ninja arts reminded me of Naruto (in which I love). Nice character development tho. overall it was a good story.

its an acquired taste

I really loved the story and pacing however the narrator kept saying "Jutsu" wrong and a few other Japanese words and it pulled me out of the book. other than that it was good and I will definitely will listen to more books in this series.

great but why the mispronounced Japanese words?

good start but had some problems with how dumb the mc would get out of nowhere. and for the love of god please stop sounding out the action or when someone is surprised. even if the author wrote it messes up the narration

great start

THEY CAN'T EVEN PRONOUNCE JUTSU OR ONI CORRECTLY. IT URKS MY SOUL. LIKE BAD DUBS(IT'S THE GODAMN JELLY FILLED DONUT'S ALL OVER AGAIN). it's easy to misunderstand words when you mispronounce a word that sounds like another when you don't have to.

I can't, not to rude but... i can't.

This one was odd but good. It took me a little bit to get into it due to the POV it’s written in, and the narrators being different from who I’m used to. Eventually though, maybe around a hour, I started enjoying book. I’ve always enjoyed Ninja stuff so it was interesting to read a story about it.

Odd by good

the book can feel a little disjointed because of the switching perspectives and the xes scenes can de a little under whelming but you won't find many books that can swear show xes and still be pretty funny the narrator is pretty good needs to get better at the drunk persona but otherwise pretty good I should highly recommend you give it a listen is you have a very dry and edgy scenes of humor of just want a book that seared like a pirate with jungle d**k snevils

with high esteem some white kid online

arguably pretty good

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and performance of the narration! I’d gladly buy the next one in the series.
