I found a lot of the content very interesting. It’s easy to tell that the author does not stray from the Catholic church’s official stances.

Unfortunately the narrator is not enjoyable to listen to. This is the type of performance you would expect from someone reading a text book.

I was surprised how much of this book is just lists. I tend to purchase books based on their length so that they will last most of my commutes for the month. Some of the lists were so long that I just skipped them and ended up cutting out over an hour of the middle of the book.
What was more surprising was that the narrator reads the glossary. The last 4 hours of the recording is all glossary and bibliography. Maybe that’s why the narrator wasn’t very excited about doing the performance.
That should all be supplemental material, not read aloud.

Some interesting content but mediocre narration and too many lists

The content covered is very informative, but how it’s narrated makes it hard to keep listening.

Good content but bad narration

90% is just a sting of numbers , with a paragraph here or there, i understand that u have to site passages for evidence, but this is excessive, this book has great potential, but is ruined over abundance of passage sites. and the narrator seems to have a hint of sarcasm in his voice and attitude

not what is seems

The author made assumptions or chose to ignore many facts in the historical section.
I also heard some statements that were purely personal commentary.
It puts in question how legitimate the information is.

Too many errors and frustrating narration

Don’t waste your time. The first four chapters are spent on touting how much better the Catholic Church is than any other denominations.

According to this author no one has authority but the Catholic Church!
