About this listen

In this powerful book, the renowned exorcist of Rome tells of his many experiences in his ministry as an exorcist doing battle with Satan to relieve the great suffering of people in the grip of evil. The importance of the ministry to "expel demons" is clearly seen in the Gospels, from the actions of the Apostles, and from Church history. Fr. Amorth allows the listener to witness the activities of the exorcist, to experience what an exorcist sees and does. He also reveals how little modern science, psychology, and medicine can do to help those under Satan's influence, and that only the power of Christ can release them from this kind of mental, spiritual or physical suffering.

An Exorcist Tells His Story has been a European best seller that has gone through numerous printings and editions. No other book today so thoroughly and concisely discusses the topic of exorcism.

Spiritual Reality Check

I, like most Americans, rarely think of the existence of the Devil and his demons. I know now, thanks to Fr. Amorth, that is exactly what the Devil wants. Thank your Fr. Amorth for opening my eyes. God bless you.

Listened to after seeing The Popes exorcist

I enjoyed this audiobook, but I’m glad it was part of my audible membership and I didn’t purchase it. The topics discussed are obviously very in depth and can be hard to follow for someone who isn’t well versed religion. If your interested in the topic and have an audible membership I recommend.

Highly recommend, and believe it.

Fr. Amorth speaks of his encounters excorsizing thousands of people during his ministry. He explains things very clearly about Heaven, hell, Purgatory, angels and fallen angels; what the motivations of fallen angels are on this earth and how we fall prey to them.
I highly encourage everyone to listen. If you are not a believer, then you will think this is a nice story. If you believe, you will get much out of this. It may help you to understand some of the unusual happenings in your life, and why most parishes do not have a diocesan excorist any more.

Meh

As a practitioner of witchcraft I can tell you he is very inaccurately describes witchcraft as being evil. Most is not and most witches are putting goodness into the world and have absolutely nothing to do with satan or evil!! I was hoping this was a book on experiences with excorcisms but it’s very preachy and judgy instead.

Good to know

Good to see today. As the US gets more and more away from morality and acceptance of a GOD.
