So glad this book is in audio now! I read it a while back when the board game kickstarter came put and super enjoyed it!! Now the audio is great especially since i drive alot for work. I think the narrators did a really good job. Loved the fact there where two of them!! Please do the other books in audio as well!!!

loved it!!!

I enjoyed the story, but I'm left wanting more than the current ending. The characters are enjoyable. There didn't seem to be enough time to flesh out the characters completely. If you're looking for an enjoyable read without life changing meanings, this is a great listen.

great

A murder on a spaceship with a highly diverse crew means adventure, action, and fun! The wife of Inspector Jayce Carver is murdered. The diverse crew is charged with finding the murderer who is hiding on the Coalition ship, Destiny Aurora. One would think there would be limited space for a murderer to hide on board the Destiny Aurora. Then again, nothing is as it seems!

The author, Frank Zanca weaves a suspense-filled sci-fi adventure story reminiscent of Star Trek and other futuristic worlds. The storyline is well plotted with several twists to keep the listener guessing. I found myself chuckling at times as the humor was fun and light. The diverse characters in this novel are interesting and seemingly well-developed. The story flows smoothly and clearly, with colorful descriptions. The dialogue moved the story forward at a good pace and was authentic.

The narrators, Giancarlo Herrera and Hannah Schooner delivered a solid performance. They gave unique voices to the characters making the story easy to follow and endearing the characters to the listeners. They spoke clearly and with a steady cadence and intonation.

This is an interesting and fun-filled sci-fi adventure. A good solid listen with the hope of more in the series!

Futuristic Sci-Fi with laughs and murder

This production has some humble elements, but overall is a solid intro to a series. The blend of action and dialogue flowed very well, and I would definitely buy the next book. Here’s why:

The performance and story were great. I thoroughly enjoyed the voice acting as well as the clever plot. The characters were nicely developed, and had lots of personality. I’m interested to learn more of their backstory. The pacing caused me to be invested very early on which is a great sign.

What I didn’t care for: Sometimes the audio was a little off. For some lines, the volume was a little low, and I don’t mean like the character was whispering. Not an issue, just don’t expect to only listen while you ride a noisy train. I also feel like some plot points could be explained a little more, but nothing that ruined the experience or can’t be expanded upon in the next book.

Overall, I highly recommend this book. Especially if you liked the video game Mass Effect.

Great first book
