About this listen

An ancient order tied to the Vatican....

A blood fortune buried in the caves of France....

A conspiracy of power, greed and darkest evil....

Archaeologist and explorer Annja Creed's fascination with the myths and mysteries of the past leads her to a crypt in the caves of France, where the terrifying legend of the Beast of Gevaudan hints at the unimaginable. What she discovers is shattering: an artifact that will seal her destiny; a brotherhood of monks willing to murder to protect their secret; and a powerful black-market occultist desperate to put his own claim to centuries-old blood money. Annja embarks on a high-tension race across Europe and history itself, intent on linking the unholy treachery of the ages with the staggering revelations of the present. But she must survive the shadow figures determined to silence her threat to their existence.

Performed by Nanette Savard, Colleen Delany, Terence Aselford, Richard Rohan, Thomas Penny, Jeff Baker, David Coyne, Ken Jackson, James Lewis, Sunny Lasskey, James Konicek, Mort Shelby.

I love the way this book was done. It has different voices for different characters. The sound effects were great. I felt as if i was on the adventure myself. It was really well done. Fixin to start another.

I actually started this series with 30something. So glad I went back and started from the beginning. Truly great writing! Very captivating. And the voices for the characters are wonderful to listen to as they share the story!

Awesome!

I enjoy graphic audio because they usually have very good narrators and the recordings are of higher quality. I thought the storyline was great. How refreshing to have a main female character that is intelligent.

Excellent

I didn’t mean to buy this book. I don’t like graphic audiobooks and I really wanted to listen to it. However I don’t like listening to random sounds in my books. All I need is a great narrator who can do voices. I don’t even like 2 people narrating the same book! If you are going to put the graphic addition out, PLEASE PUT OUT THE REGULAR ADDITION AS WELL to give the listeners a choice! Not everyone likes to listen to a movie without it being on screen. Which is why so many of these books get negative ratings. It’s a good concept but I haven’t found one that was done well yet. Now this book is ruined for me.

Graphic Audio - Noooooo

A new series for me. As I usually read a book before I decide to listen to it, I took a chance with this on Audible with a GraphicAudio production. As usual, the cast of characters was spot on with the drama and voices (a little over the top with loud music). As a story "Destiny" has an unusual premise (for me) with an archaeologist "receiving" the gift of Joan of Arc's sword (and all the mythology, actual history and other theories). Is she going to be a hero or ??? I liked it enough to look into book two. And I will read it first this time.

Okay, but not hooked yet
