About this listen

My life has revolved around the two things I've always loved: whiskey and rugby. Now, the marriage clause in my Da's will has me putting both on the back burner if I want to save the Murphy's Pub empire and find a wife.

As the last brother to get married, I need a little help, and that's where my sister-in-law's American best friend, Leah, comes into the picture. She could use a little Irish luck after the deceitful things her ex did to her that brought her to Ireland. With her take-no-shite-attitude, she's just the type of girl to help me find a wife. That is, if I can remember she’s the matchmaker and not the match.

By the 3rd book in thus series, I wish the author would have been a little more creative than another assistant to marriage story line, but at least there was some drama. Overall, the book was good, but I'm glad I listened to Connor and Fallon's story first or else I don't think I could have made it through all three.

Storyline sounds awfully familiar

I absolutely loved this book! Leah & Sean’s inner dialogue, as well as their banter, was absolutely hilarious!! This book was raw, emotional, passionate, realistic, heart, and humor it is an absolute must read. Overall, it was amazing & will tug at your heartsrings. Elizabeth Klett & Richard Sawyer do a wonderful job portraying & bringing the characters to life. I recommend reading or listening to this book (and series!)

Definitelly recommend

I really enjoyed this series. It was nice reading about two couples who are genuinely kind to each other. Leah was a little more stubborn and whiny than Fallon and Grace, but she was compatible to Sean. Leah also has a “poor me” attitude and I didn’t like the ending as someone had to give up dreams to make the other happy. I did like all the brothers, but I think the “marriage clause” was a big stretch for three brothers to get married within a year. Still, it made for a fun listen, especially with these two narrators.

Great Series
