About this listen

When veteran yoga instructor Mila Mercado was asked to attend a new class and report back to the studio, she had no idea that the over-confident, ruggedly sexy newbie Atlas Powers was going to teach more than just a very controversial and erotic form of yoga.

New instructor Atlas Powers has two passions in life: his music career and steamy by-the-book Mila Mercado. He teaches yoga by day and works at his passion by night until the fiery woman walks into his class and gives the term desire a whole new dimension.

In this wicked hot tale of love and lust, two struggling artists are trying to make their dreams come true. Only one thing gets in the way...until they stop fighting long enough to burn up the sheets and the yoga studio with a divine desire neither of them can avoid.

Loved Atlas and Mila

Divine Desire is book #3 in Audrey Carlan’s Lotus House Series. This is another great addition to the series. Mila and Atlas had a sizzling connection right from the beginning. Mila fought it but deep down she was attracted and couldn’t stay away from his dirty mouth, attractive body and all his charm. Atlas teaches a special kind of yoga at the Lotus House. Mila is a talented artist. She is creative, smart, witty and intelligent. Atlas is flawless. He is a talented musician and has a beautiful heart. He also had a sweet side to him. He was encouraging to Mila and her dream and her art. The common theme in this book is conflict and lack of communication. I also found Mila has some abandonment issues. I found this off putting at time and repetitive. Overall I enjoyed it and look forward to the rest of the books in series.

Joe Arden’s performance was flawless. He narrates with so much passion and heat in his voice. Carmen Vine was good. I found her to be monotone at times and wished for a little more emotion in her voice to make it more of an enjoyable listening experience.

Failure Isn’t An Option

Atlas and Mila are in a battle of will… and all’s fair in love and yoga. Mila is the human equivalent of too little butter too much bread. She kills herself with working to make ends meet and then tries to fit her real zeal for life in during her down moments. Mila has a gift and a way with Art. Something she would greatly love to share with the world if only she had enough time to complete enough work for a showing. When her muse is suddenly inspired by the man that has the ability to drive her bananas, she finds herself agreeing to his terms because she cannot not paint him. Atlas has been trying for years to make his dream of getting signed a reality. He knows that if it doesn't happen soon, it probably won't come to pass. When he see a kindred spirit of want in Mila’s eyes he knows just she's looking for in regards to her Art. He also knows his wildcat wants him just as much as he wants her so he makes her a deal, she can follow her muse to him, if she gives into the carnal desires they both want. Inspiration and Perspiration follow in spades and Mila and Atlas find that together they make something pretty perfect together

Narration- Joe and Carmen are amazing as Mila and Atlas. So hot and steamy you are going to blush something fierce.

Found this book while scrolling Joe Arden's books

Areden is my favorite for doing steam and stories. Loved mixed steam with the yoga

Artistic

This story had a relaxing artistic style. I love that the main characters have art in common even though they art different styles of art. They also have have the yoga in common as well. Love the spunk of the female character as well. This was good narration as well.

Good read

Good book. As predicted, the author is continuing with the annoying pet name trend for the main female character. Ugh... there are several more books to go in the series. I enjoy them for the most part, and the characters are inherently different in each book, but those damn pet names grind my gears. I'll have to wait to continue.

I ONLY FINISHED BECAUSE OF JOE ARDEN'S NARRATION

I really liked this story, but wasn't happy with the female narrator. I only stuck with the book because I enjoy Joe Arden's narration. I'm glad I finished it, but I truly wish the writers would really think about who they have narrating their books, some of the voices just don't cut it for me.
