Critic reviews

"Martin is successful in cheering on would-be activists to struggle and fail and struggle again..... [The book] initiates a vital conversation at a time when the world and its challenges seem more intractable than ever." (Publishers Weekly)
"Do It Anyway asks the most difficult question possible: how can I make my life meaningful? The answers are varied, transformational, and necessary for us all." (Jane Fonda)

If you want to make the world a better place

You need to read this book. A microcosmic acknowledgement and celebration of the complexities of our world, and the everyday people doing things everyday to make it better. It's truly an honour, humbling, to be able to learn from such people like this, seeing into their lives and struggle. For activists everywhere but especially in the global north.
