About this listen

A decade ago, a tragic surgery forever altered the lives of Dr. Jackie Stone and Sarah Taylor. Haunted by the loss of that patient, Dr. Stone has since immersed herself in her work, believing that if she stays busy, she can escape the pain of her past.

Sarah Taylor, now a determined intern at Manhattan's prestigious Watson Memorial Hospital, finds herself under the supervision of the very doctor who was present during her brother's ill-fated surgery ten years ago.

As she strives to become a renowned surgeon, Sarah must grapple with the emotional weight of working in the same hospital where her brother died, under the watchful eye of the woman who couldn't save him.

I love medical drama, both in audio and on TV, but this w=one was not the best book i listened to. It was Ok but nothing to write home about. I would have love to have it longer and seeing the drama with the mother of the MC, for example. Narration was OK but not more than that…

The story wasn't bad, but could have been better. Especially towards the end and not giving the aftermath with the mother and how that relationship turned out.

Lacking

The narrator made this book. I would have liked for the premise to have included the aftermath of the characters’ decision.

Pleasing listen
